We were made most welcome, every need was met. The food was really very good, well cooked, well served and hot. The room was very clean and when the telly did not work it was replaced almost immediately. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Rooms have been refurbished to a very good standard since our last stay and the food is excellent.Friendly Hotel.Helpful owners. We stayed for one night on our Scotland tour. The hotel was well located on the main street (we did a little pub crawl very easily). On arrival we received a warm welcome from reception. We ate at the restaurant and were very pleased with the quality of the food, service and price. Breakfast was well done as well. the room was well equipped, very clean and the shower powerful and hot. όλα τα σχόλια »
Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and good attention from the owners. Overall I was very pleased with our booking and this Hotel. The drying room ie the boiler room, is a big bonus for walkers and climbers given the unpredictable weather in the Cairngorms. Good all round family hotel, friendly staff, resedents snug lounge with large tv, jigsaw puzzles and books for the kids. Excellent food.Staff at hotel were exceptionally friendly and keen to help. Locals were very friendly too and made us feel very welcome. Food in Bistro within hotel was excellent both at evening meal and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was very clean and well presented and the entertainment was second to none.. well worth it! Will definitly be back. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout my shortstay - food excellent and reasonably priced - room comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The snug, the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly.Clean and recently refurbished bedroom, small but adequate.
Breakfast sevice was quick and efficient. Food typical of Highland hospitality. Evening entertainment was fun. staff and menu excellent. friendly staff. The fact that we could take our small dog and he was made very welcome by Shaun and his wife (manager) made our stay more pleasurable. the friendliness of the staf. Location and friendliess of staff. Location. not anything I did not like but the stairs were quite high which for someone elderly is a bit of a marathon!. bathroom was small. Nothing, I was very pleased. Pets allowed. Music in the public bar was too loud. I asked for a room near to the ground floor due to my partner having mobility difficulties and we were put on the 2nd, (top) floor. To be fair we accepted this as the hotel was very busy.bath towel too thin and too small
no ITV!. the quality of the evening meal was quite poor so we ate elsewhere on nights 2 and 3. Carpet in room had not been cleaned properly. The public areas seemed dirty. The stairs were dirty. There was no atmosphere at all in the bar - it was just a room with a few rickety tables and chairs plonked anywhere. The food service was not great and the quality not that good either. In the bathroom of our room, the floor was freezing due to the ceramic tiles on the floor ( which did look nice ) and the fittings in the bathroom were really cheap which let it down.
