We were made to feel so welcome, the room was excellent and thebreakfast even better. We had no problem useing our card to pay andfound no problem with parking - I travel a lot for work and chellowdene was one of the best guest houses by far friendly, clean and a great breakfast. i found no problem parking

2** rating... not really.. like all the other reviews it was more like an easy 3***. The Melvill Guest House was most comfortable, the owners most courteous and the breakfast set us up for the long journey home. I was delighted to find that I had a sea view in spite of having a single room - usually single rooms have a dreary view. The couple who ran it were delightful and the food laid out on a dresser for breakfast was very varied, including an excellent selection of fresh fruit. Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom.
Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain).

Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

Staff where excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and for a small guesthouse the facilities where excellent. Beautiful hotel, lovely garden, relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good, wide selection and well prepared. Lovely waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay very much. -

We stayed for a two nights, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and a good size, the same applies to the bathroom. the facilities were excellent and a very good beakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel is situated within a short walk to both the town centre and beaches.. Lov
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ed our stay and would definately go back. - having travelled a lot worldwide this hotel is very a little jem!, lovely pool, fab food 10 points for the chef lobster was very good and the steak was cooked to perfection,friendly and helpfull staff,its not often that you can find a hotel offering such a high standard of service for a reasonable price,it puts shame on more expensive hotels.

The kind hospitable couple that run the guest house. They were both very welcoming and friendly we had a lovely time and we shall return back to Tregenna Guest House in the future and recommend it to others Professionaly run even though they have three Children, which is hard to believe as I think we only heard them once in the whole 5 days spent

Donna the landlady was lovely when we checked us in. the property has been decorated to a very high boutique standard.
When getting to the room we was very pleased with the light, roomy, modern bedroom with four poster bed with a spacious well appointed en suite and the most fabulous view of the sea, pendenis castle and the coastline. we had breakfast in bed on everyday of our stay and the food was delicious. furniture, bedding, towels etc are very good quality.
