The older gentleman working in the reception was a perfect example of hospitality and he also seemed to have a great knowledge of Edinburgh, which he shared generously.

We arrived and were greeted by Stuart, who was very friendly and courteous during our check-in process. Then he took the time to give us a map and explain the many different things to see and do and made suggestions on how to go about it. He was very helpful. The hotel building was very impressive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was superb and the food was excellent. Ideally placed for us, as we were attending the March & Rally for Scottish Independence on Calton Hill that weekend. We only stayed two nights and didn't have time to use the spa/pool but it looked really nice. You can

Very beautiful hotel in perfect location at the end of Princess Street
and not far from Calton Hill. Ideal for romantic walkings around the top
Edinburgh attractions. We spent there lovely 3 nights during Easter,
everything was good, staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful room with

location/ free use of the lobby coomputer/ the staff are very helpful and very nice. I felt very safe and secure. - Kind friendly and helpful service on arrival and departure. Will stay again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also. The hotel overall exceeded our expectations and we would definately stay there again - What more can you say when you give the hotel 11 out of 10 the hotel staff were very friend

This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. We had a perfect stay at the Apex International Hotel. Our room was fantastic with excellent views of the castle and was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The location of the hotel is quite far from the city center but there is a bus leaving every 5-10 mins from just around the corner. It takes about 20 mins and drops you right on Pinces Street. We used to own public houses and a small hotel so therefore we have high expectations your hotel met all of our own personal standards. We would certainly stay with you again.The hotel was more like a big happy family home rather than a typical large group . Our compliments to all of you.

Smart at iQ, Edinburg was a very pleasant surprise for us. Perfectly located: less than 20 min walk to the castle and to the train station, bus stop for the airport right at the corner, restaurants and shops around. The apartment complex itself is very secure.
The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space.
The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp.
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.
