The breakfast was just amazing!!! Was better than any B&B that we have stayed at, very impressed. For what we payed, room was very basic and slightly on the small side. I still view this as a positive as we are realists and expect to pay for what we got, the room was slightly small BUT so was the price for this accomodation. Totally recommend

The hotel was in a great area with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, the hotel was easily reached on foot from both the railway and bus station.
The rooms were clean, comfortable had a safe at no extra cost and opening windows
The breakfast in the morning was excellent with so much choice!!!

βρισκόταν σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία, πολύ κοντά στο σταθμό λεωφορείων και πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο. ο υπεύθυνος του ξενοδοχείου ήταν καταπληκτικός. A well kept hotel, lovely, helpful staff, a comfortable sleep and a great breakfast. Was very close to the main shopping areas and the playhouse which is why we chose this hotel. Very happy and would gladly stay here again. - The staff was very accommodating and hotel was well located

We booked a double and got a very spacious and comfortable room downstairs with 2 beds (queen & a twin). Check-in was quick. Heaters worked great for the chilly Dec weather. The shower always had hot water. Breakfast buffet consisted of cereal, toast, jam, yogurt, cheeses, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea was perfect to start the day. B

The B&B has really nice, with high ceilings and mouldings. Owner was very friendly and a nice welcoming host. Bed was comfortable, rooms were warm. Free Wi-Fi good for checking out local restaurants etc. Is about a mile walk from train station, with a nice bar restaurant called "Reverie" near-by on the way in to town.
Breakfast was good, with coffee or tea to suit. We would stay again.

This is a charming small hotel, easy walking distance to City Centre. It has a comfortable little bar,reasonably priced, didn't sample the bar food but if the breakfast is anything to go by I'm sure it'll be excellent, as was the breakfast -freshly cooked to order, as much tea/coffee and toast as you want. The room was spotless, freshly decorated and beds comfortable,the bathroom was spotless too - good shower.Parking for a few cars on site. I will definitely use this hotel again.

I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. Besides, there is Wi-Fi available. Breakfast is abundant and there is something for every taste.

It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

We were going to Edinburgh for a few days so wanted somewhere reasonably priced. From the outside it looked tired but once you stepped inside it was freshly painted, our too. Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Anthony stayed june 13 -
