location/ free use of the lobby coomputer/ the staff are very helpful and very nice. I felt very safe and secure. - Kind friendly and helpful service on arrival and departure. Will stay again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

homely feel due to there being all the facilities such as a clean cooker, washing machine..etc that we required for our stay. also liked the fact that it was an apartment that we could come and go as we pleased rather than having to go to a hotel reception for the keys or throgh a reception area and also that we did not have to leave the room to go

We had a perfect stay at the Apex International Hotel. Our room was fantastic with excellent views of the castle and was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.

The hotel room was very spacious and quiet.The hotel location was in a nice area and easy to get into Edinburgh by bus we were able to park our car in the grounds and leave it there during our stay.Good food ,friendly staff and a nice hotel with character. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day. The room was wonderful, clean and the staff were beyond nice. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Edinburgh. Plus it's right in the middle of everyth

We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.

We were extremely surprised by the quality of the hotel considering we paid 119 for a double room. Staff were of 5* quality, attached bar is fantastic with good beer, good food and live sport on big screens. Bedrooms are great. Would not hesitate to return. Plentiful parking for free at weekend and a 15min walk to centre. -

A meal truly fit and in man-size portions too. Now the Guest room was something else! - The people were amazingly friendly and very helpful in all aspects.
