Friendly staff, lovely decorated bedroom room, lovely bathroom comfortable bed. Loved the fact there was complimentry water, free wifi. The complimentry newspaper was a really nice touch too. Its those little things that sets the George apart from other hotels in the UK. The doorman who helped us with our luggage was professional and helpful. Love

The facilities are everything you would expect from an establishment such as The George -the room was magnificent and the ambience of the hotel relaxing and welcoming. The staff are clearly focussed on guest comfort. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will certainly make a return visit soon.

Set in an 18th-century coaching inn, The Green Man features a traditional restaurant and real ale bar. The inn is a 2-minute walk from Stamford centre, just half a mile from Stamford Railway Station.

The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming, although facilities were basic it was very clean and just what we needed! Breakfast was brilliant! Would definatly stay here again when visiting Stamford! -
