The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem to them and I felt safe and welcomed. I travel frequently south of the border and have never received such a nice welcome as I did here. It makes such a difference when the staff address you by name. - very friendly, relaxed, nice food, good location

I wouldhappily recommend this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a latearrival on a sunday night and they prepared my a small snack as I wasunable to eat elsewhere. Stayed in a spacious, relaxing and very comfortable suite. We loved the decor and furnishings too.
Once we had settled in, a fresh flower arrangement was delivered to our room. That was a nice touch.
Staff were very helpful and friendly,
Wine was reasonably priced. There were ample dishes to choose from the menu. Daily specials were offered too.

We liked everything about it, the hotel was ideal for us, very comfortable and spacious rooms. the food was extremely good and a very varied menu. the staff were very professional and attentive to our needs, even the locals that popped in we got to know. We spent three nights at woodlands and would have loved to have stayed longer.

Myself and 12 year old son stayed in the Moreig Hotel whilst visiting my husband in the local Hospital. The room was excellent, spacious and the decor was very good. We never ate at the hotel apart from the breakfast which was included in the price we paid, and this was very tastey, the full scottish breakfast is huge and set us up for the day. -

The evening meal menu is adequate and has a nice variety. This is good as the nearest good restaurant is over 3 km away. -

Location - close to town and all amenities but far enough from town centre for quiet break. Room décor old fashioned including 4 poster bed to suit styled accommodation - modern up to date equipment, Fab breakfast and service in well lit cosy room. Plentiful parking spaces and children's play area out back (if you have little ones with you). Great for price - booked on special rate 2 days before trip

Excellent room, large, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. David, the owner is friendly without wanting to know your life story, which I like. This room is great value for money. We paid £99 for a tiny cramped room in a hotel in the Highlands. You could fit two such rooms in the one we had in Glenaldor.
We would highly recommend this B+B.
