Classic British village pub well kept and well run. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable and convenient.
Plenty of parking and a nice outdoor garden at the back. The afternoon I arrived the weather was glorious and I enjoyed a beer outside while waiting for my colleague. The countryside around the town is storybook beautiful.
The advertised pub food looked very appealing but I had dinner elsewhere so can't comment.
The room was charming, well appointed and very comfortable. Sky satellite TV was. όλα τα σχόλια »
This hotel was a great find . The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable, clean and pleasing on the eye. SKY TV might not be everyone's idea of fun but I must say having the full suite of program's in your room is unusual but very welcome. The food in the bar downstairs is top notch but try not to eat too much as the breakfast is excellent. I must say from someone who travels a great deal on work this is a great little hotel!.
Everything - all the staff were exceedingly friendly, I received nothing but outstanding service. The food was excellent, both at dinner and breakfast. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. This really is an excellent little hotel/inn. I can't recommend it enough!.
The room was great. Comfy bed, good shower & tv reception. Was the most expensive B&B I stayed in which would have been ok if the breakfast had been better quality , cooked to order with fresh ingredients plus there being good quality cereals, berries and muesli that other places offer.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Very friendly, personal service.
Superb bedroom and very comfortable bed.
Large plasma TV in my room with Sky Movies and Sky Sports (free).
Excellent food.
the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was very impressive . The food was also high quality.
Thank you for making my big birthday special !!.
Excellent welcome, friendly, good food, great bed, free wifi, great breakfast, whats not to like.

Food and staff.
Staff all very polite and friendly.
Excellent breakfast; clean rooms.
The traffic on the road outside was a bit noisy in the evening, but overnight it was not a problem.
The breakfast is disastrous for any diet plans you have!.
If I was really nitpicking I would say that my eggs weren't quite as good on day 2 as they had been on day 1... but seriously, there is nothing to criticise about this hotel, it really is very, very good.
The breakfast was of low quality. Cheap orange 'juice', frozen style hash browns and a fried tomato that was tough in the middle (unripe - I assume) & sausage not cooked through properly. Other B&b's do much better breakfasts.
Little bit of road noise, but it wouldn't put me off going again.
Not a lot, great example of a pub B&B.
The traffic noise was not good which meant i slept badly. Double glazing would help with this.
cramped ease of getting luggage etc to car park and up to room on narrow staircase.
Doubt about what 'no meal option' meant at last click of
booking process. The words bed and breakfast did not appear and should
have done.
The wonky chair in the room.
My booking took ages to sort out when I arrived; an additional charge of £10 was made for the dogs not clarified when booking; I had to pay up front in full. Access to the rooms are via a very steep staircase not suitable for the less agile; the braised beef I had for dinner was tough and not nice. TV not set up properly. Noisy as next to the main road.
