Check in at the Art Nouveau reception and be shown to one of the slightly quirky rooms. They are all individually decorated and come with toiletries, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some have sea views and some have a balcony. In the morning, breakfast is served in the Art Deco dining room. Options include 13 different cooked breakfasts with some exciting vegetarian and vegan choices. Brighton Rail Station is just over 20 minutes’ walk from the Paskins and Brighton is full of independent shops waiting to be discovered. Queens Park is a 15-minute walk away.

This B&B was wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming, and happy to answer questions. After a day of travel, it was nice to come into the room where an assortment of organic teas and coffees and a fresh apple were waiting for me. The bathroom was clean and the shower was wonderful. Breakfast was served in the basement. There were plenty of options, including vegan and vegetarian options. The location of the hotel was splendid. The beach was less than five minutes away, the pier just fif.

Wifi was free, had a good, strong, fast connection. The TV decided to go faulty late evening on the first night. Not a problem these things happen, but staff were really helpful and it was promptly replaced with a brand new one. :) Overall very pleased, would recommend to others, and will definitely stay again. Design and decor, attentive staff, comfortable room, attention to detail regarding the fair trade refreshments without compromising the quality, the bathroom supplies chosen with care and concern for their quality and their ecological values. Now the breakfast ...outstanding..bacon to die for sausages near to perfection..everyone is catered for ..vegetarians, vegans. We felt very welcome here and would certainly recommend Paskins...thank you. Myself and my partner stayed one night at Paskins in room 15 (with the 4 poster bed). It was beautiful! The decor is lovely, the bed is really big and comfortable, the staff are friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There is a nice real ale pub at the top of the street and the sea is just a couple of minutes away. It was perfect. I hope that we will stay here again soon!. The staff were lovely, the room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were amazing (the best we have had in a bed or breakfast / hotel and in a beautiful dining room. The parking voucher also worked very well for us (good value) and we parked right outside the B and B which is in an excellent location for the city / beach /. everything. Charming host, David, lovely room with very comfortable double bed. Good attention to detail but the breakfast stole the show - an imaginative and stunning menu and luckily the food to match, just delicious and everything organic. A very pleasant stay, sorry it was only one night, we'll be back when next visiting our daughter. A night in Brighton with my Mum and teenage daughter. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the homemade marmalade! Triple room we stayed in was pristine. Bottles of water provided in the room. Will be going back at some point for a weekend with my Fiancé. Wouldn't even consider another hotel/B&B. loved every aspect of the hotel. Good breakfast, lovely helpful staff. room cleaned everyday.fresh towels daily, a bottle of water and an apple left as a courtesy which i thought was a real nice touch. I've stayed in some places in Brighton, but this hotel beats them hands down. I will return for another stay. FAUTLESS!. The breakfast was particularly good especially the poached eggs perfect every time. I did have an upset tummy on my last day (nothing to do with the hotel or the food from there) the chef on duty was concerned and so was the waitress they looked after me very well, thank you both. The staff were lovely. The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. It was pristine clean and it had nice little touches, such as fresh apple, bottle of water and selection of teas and coffee left in the room every day. There was an iron and ironing board, which I thought was very useful. Great location. Great service great food. Comfortable beds helpful staff. Me and my friend went to play poker for 4 nights. Had twin room. Changed pillow for my friend and even let him have breakfast in bed one day as he was ill. Clean and tidy room. Small art deco place charming b and B. Huge comfy bed. Best breakfast ever:- Full english breakfast, 3 types of muesli 3 different friut dishes 3 diferent fruit juices Nuts, seeds, dried fruit 3 different fish dishes etc, etc. Big comfortable bed. Luxury room is spacious with beautiful window and bed is sumptuous. Breakfast room and fayre is unmissable. Staff extremely approachable and friendly.I have never stayed in a hotel that catered so well for vegetarians the range of options were fantastic. Will definitely be coming back. Decor very quirky - 'shabby chic'...... a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Susan and David were so friedly and helpful. The guest information guide was witty and useful. The location was perfect for access to the beach, quirky and colourful shops and the Royal Pavilion. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. we were in the triple room number 10 in the top floor, very quiet and nice views over the roofs very nicely decorated overall and details with art deco design very friendly and fast service including lots of choice for breakfast. Great budget-friendly small hotel with tasteful art-deco motifs, esp. in the dining room, which serves a gourmet breakfast. Very conveniently located, close to downtown and the seaside. A great find, recommended by a friend. The room wasn't the biggest I've ever been in, but very comfortable, well equipped, and most of all, clean! The breakfast menu is great as well. The free wi-fi connection was terrible in the room. But a short trip down to reception, and the connection is great. Other than that, everything was great. Nothing. The only thing we didn't like was the shower, very high up and fixed to the wall which made it difficult to wash properly and especially for our child, the water just trickles out. Not a dislike, just a note. The triple room was on the top floor, which I was advised of at time of booking. If you have any difficulty with stairs, room 10 is not for you!!. Didn't really dislike anything about my stay. maybe there could have been beans on the full breakfast. i'm sure if i asked they would have provided them :). My towels were not changed for my stay that is my only concern. You could occasionally smell the drains, although that might not necessarily be the problem of the hotel. The only negative was our sink was low down and a shelf above it needs moving because u hit your head and needed a door stopper for door separating halway bit and bedroom. Minor things we told paskins when we left. Rooms are not big but enough for us and had everything in. Defo stay again. Door didn't lock, but staff were made aware. On top floor, stairs a little tight. Small room No free parking. Leaving !. The dining room is a tad on the 'snug' side, not a complaint just an observation. Only that our room was a little pokey but nevertheless comfortable. the room price.. Although we did like our "small double" room, guests need to be small people like us!. Location. It's a little far out from the city centre and the pier, but that's not a problem if you don't mind a bracing walk along the seafront!. Need to walk 15-20 to the centre. Absolutely nothing to say in this category!. A bit cramped and cleaning noise starts too early and breakfast ends too early if you are there for a music festival/nightlife. Also had funny sulfur smell form the toilet. Parking is not included and is 7.5 pounds and is tricky to find. Parking can be a bit tricky. Nothing I disliked. Would recommend that if you have mobility issues, ie climbing stairs, to ring the hotel as very small and tight stairs to get to most rooms. Nothing. Parking place is a real problem. You need a section C permit and costs 7,5 GBP and you have to look in the right streets for a free spot which is not easy. Parking is almost impossible around the hotel, I was able to park on the sea front, where it's £3 per hour up untill 8.pm. It is an expensive Band B but then it is an expensive area. parking not convenient and a bit expensive [in all of Brighton]. Noise from other guests going up and down stairs and creeky floor boards. Room10 second bed very uncomfortable due to sloping floor this could be rectified very easily but would stay there again but in different room. Absolutely nothing. Shower was difficult to get warm - too complicated for an old fart like me - it was luke warm in the end but there was hot water in the sink. Wi fi very weak in the rooms, steep stairs with no lift. Rooms a bit small but goes with the location. Bathroom could do with a bit of an update in the shower region!. Nothing. We were on the top floor and after a big night and being an older couple we could not run up the stairs, very steep. Fighting through the double doors Poor wifi access in my room. the room was a bit small.
