Everything was perfect. Martin (the owner) allowed us to leave our bags earlier than check-in hours, so that we wouldn't need to carry them around. The room (The Grasmere) and the bathroom were very clean and nicely decorated, they were really comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed. Martin prepared an amazing full English breakfast, we couldn't wait for the next morning to have it again. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! We stayed two nights - 20 and 21 July- (Martin was a very knowledgable and brilliant host who made us feel so welcome. He should get an Oscar for his laugh also!
The mattress was especially extremely comfy... A real pleasure.
It was also good, as the B&B was in a very quiet location only 5 minutes away from the town centre, and with good street parking. The cooked breakfast was also very good, and welcome, especially after so much walking on the previous day!

The location is good in a quiet side street away from the bustle of Bowness, which gets very crowded.
We had the Rydal room. It is a good size with en-suite facilities and a giant sized bed which was very comfortable.
Martin offers a range of breakfast times. Your cooked breakfast will be ready at the time you asked for it. The quantity and quality of the food is excellent. If you are not familiar with the area Martin enjoys talking to the guests and will happily recommend places to visit.

The reception by Sharon was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and Sharon explained all key points about facilities in a quick and concise manner, allowing us to start our break immediately. The B&B was exeptionally clean and tidy and had a very homely feel. A lovely breakfast was provided to order along with a friendly service. We were made to feel very welcome and would love to stay again.
This is a great b+b, the best we have stayed in yet,fantastic value for money, the bedroom with spa bath is wonderful, all rooms clean, homely,well decorated.The b+b is only a 3 min walk to lake windermere, and shops. pubs and restaurants, a lovely quiet location. The owner Sharon is fantastic, cannot do enough for you, and she also does a lovely cooked breakfast.
It was a gorgeous room with a great big spa bath. the owner was very attentive and friendly and was always there if you needed anything.

The owner Martin made us feel very welcome. He gave us a choice of breakfast time and cooked us a fabulous fresh full english breakfast. Location was very good, on a quiet side street, just 5 mins from bowness town centre. It was also good to have free wifi.
Close to the town and local attractions, we didn't have to use our car. The breakfast was fantastic, and Sharon catered to our dietary needs.
The bed was really comfortable, and the Jacuzzi bath was unusual. Overall it was a lovely b & b.

sharon was great,nothing was too much trouble.we had room 3,top of the house,fantastic veiws of the night skies and the snow-topped peaks in the distance.will stay again for sure.

I only have one minor gripe and that is that the television was to small. The room needs either a bigger tv or the tv being moved closer to the bed.
Heavy rain caused some dripping outside our window. Unfortunately my husband is a light sleeper!.

Breakfast (full English) is only served between 9 and 10. When wanting to leave earlier, only a continental breakfast is served. It is misleading to advertise a full English breakfast included, when it's only true when leaving later in the day.
