I read other reviews after booking online and I thought I shouldn't have booked, but when we arrived I found it a nice budget hotel. Services are basic but not bad for that price. We were a family of 5 and we were given room 27 in the basement which was clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean. The weather wasn't too hot so we didn't have a problem with closing the windows to avoid the noise outside but in hot weather I guess this will be a problem. Two minutes walk to the beach which is good fo. όλα τα σχόλια »
After seeing many bad reviews, I took a risk, paying only £30 for a double room for one night. It payed off, check in took 3 mins maximum, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable, clean, and just what I needed after a night out in Bournemouth. Perfect hotel if you're socially visiting bournemouth's nightlife, or if you fancy a last minute stay. Like I said, I took a risk, and it payed off. I would defiantly stay here again.
The room was very large and we (my 17 year old daughter and I) had a
choice of a double bed and a single. There was a tv and tea making
facilities in the room. The view from the room was great - we could see
the sea. The ensuite was modern and adequate apart from the shower (see
"What didn't you like?"). Good price and parking at the
rear. Friendly greeting from man on reception.
I really liked the room it was brand newly decorated and bathroom was all new. Room 14 is the one I stayed in. Very baby friendly and Tom was friendly and helpful with carrying baby buggy up the stairs. Baby and I had a blissful nights sleep. We liked the view and it's a great place to stay in Bournemouth especially if you are looking for a quality hotel on a tight budget.
Very reasonable nightly rates, considering location (we wnet in early April 2012)
Quite a spacious room (Room 1 Had a double and 2 single beds, though there were only 2 of us)
Only 5 minutes walk (down hill) to pier beaches, cinemas, restaurants & shops
Staff very helpful and understanding when we had a slight accident with red wine
Parking at rear of hotel.
The staff were really helpful and welcoming. We had a large room which was perfect ( comfy bed and good shower), loved the flexibility and being left to our own devices. We ended up extending our one night stay to 3 nights! Good location to the seafront and amenities, fast wifi too so a plus.
Went for a girls weekend, didn't know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but was really pleased, everything was clean and tidy, clean bedding and towels and warm, would definitely recommend for a weekend away with friends.
This the second time we have stayed here now and found that the room was better than before. For a budget hotel it was good and very good location for the town centre and the night life. so will definitely use it again.
Very close to town and was good value for money. The bathroom was spotless and the accommodation was fine for what we needed - to put our heads down for a couple of hours after a night out.
Everything, the customer service, the beds were VERY comfy and clean. Surrounding restaurants were good and the cheap pass to the Marriott hotel was lovely. Very good value for money.
The staff where helpful and attentive, the room was adequate and a good price for one night for people on a budget, the beds where very comfortable and had a great nights sleep.
We were going to see a show at the BIC and the location was perfect! The rooms were tidy and compact :). The staff were very helpful when we asked for information.
Nice hotel, good friendly staff and clean rooms with TV and ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as we have used the same hotel twice now.
Great budget hotel we had the six bed room which was very clean beds spotless staff very friendly and helpfull.great location very close to beach and shops.
The safety of the hotel, i liked the face that outsider werent easily allowed to come in thr hotel which reduces risk drastically.
The friendliness of the people entrusted to operate the hotel, the hotel
quiet and the situation in which it is located.
The rooms were very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful! For that price, everything was better than expected!.
Only stayed overnight
For the price could not have asked for better
Breakfast (at nearby restaurant) was excellent too.
Crisp and clean design of the rooms. Very light and airy rooms with a modern bathroom. Kept clean and tidy by staff.
I arrived very early. The guy checked me in early and moved my stuff into my room when it was available. Was ideal.
Excellent location, clean comfortable room if a little on the small side. Good value for money. Free wi-fi and TV.

It close to the beach and cheap. Clean and quite big to expend
couple of days.
The staff were really friendly and the facilities were great, rooms very clean.
Great value for money, friendly staff, great location, good parking facilities.
i wish people would not slam there doors
and not talk alot in the hall way.
The hotel was central, it was quiet and felt safe for a woman on her own.
Very good value for money right by the city centre , beach and the b.i.c.

Good value for money.
Better than it's reputation.
Very nice rooms very clean and helpful staff .
Well presented clean rooms and helpful staff.
Alex on the reception was especially helpful.
Convenient for the Theatre.
Nice and quiet.
great owner, comfortable rooms. very clean!.
Very friendly service lovely big room.
Clean, great location, friendly staff.
The bathroom didn't have an air extractor so it wasn't nice after using the bathroom. Didn't have a wardrobe to keep our clothes.
The shower had a very low water pressure, only a trickle really and then
it was scolding hot. I could not adjust it and ended up having to wash
off the shower gel at the sink. Our neighbours were extremely noisy - at
bedtime and then at 4am (for some reason). It was loud talking and
moving around/banging things against the wall, etc. Not the fault of
the hotel, we appreciate that, but nevertheless....not good.
No bedside tables (hence Red Wine accident)
£2.50 charge for paying with a Debit or Credit card (We were given chance to go to a cash point had we wished to)
£5 per day parking fee though this is much cheaper than public car parking
Short, uphill walk might be a problem if disabled as it is quite steep.
Little light in the rooms, but it was cosy!.
There wasn't a wardrobe but for one nights stay this isn't nessacary.
The toilet seat was a bit wobbly.
No free parking.
Nothing really, staffs were kind and helpful. Room was clean abd it was located right where we wanted!.
Having to pay for car parking (£5) for overnight stay.
Sometimes the doors to the room were hard to open.
No hand towels in bathroom, no shower gel, soap or hairdryer.
The twin beds in our room were comfortable but very skinny!.
- I had a late check-in, Should Check-In before 9 pm otherwise, 5
Pounds would be charged for every 30 minutes. I reached at 9:34
and they charged 10 pounds extra, just for 4 minutes delay; 5
pounds is not fair.
Couldn't name anything i didn't like.
The 5 people room was very hot.
Extra charges for using
car park, credit card.
My friend said I snored and I didnt.
They wanted me to pay 5 £ to leave my luggage for a few hours, however I
saw a shop just going to the main street called mail box or something
like that, and I paid 1£ for 10hours... Be aware!.
doesn't mention £5 per day parking charge! Very very noisy walls must be paper thin!! Felt like upstairs guests were coming through ceiling.
Creaking floor boards. You can hear conversations in joining rooms.
Located at top of steep hill.
Beds looked outdated, although linen was very clean and fresh.
Wanted a shower but the water would not run hot in the basin so went without the shower. Fortunately there was a kettle in the room.
Decor is dated in bedroom. Thin walls, can hear guests next door talking.
The rooms smell from a mix of perfume and fungus.
Only cash payment.
No lift and no breakfast.
shower was very confined. being a very tall man it was a bit of a struggle to use.
Finding the bar not open we left Bournemouth town early to have drinks in hotel but when we got there it was closed :(.
Nothing to dislike.
