The hotel was great and staff where great. really great value for money. very welcoming staff. could be a little cleaner and also a broken beside door just left.

In good location for City Centre. Large Car Park. Bus Stop in front of Hotel. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff nice clean room lovely bathroom

room was chilly but I couldn't turn heater on. No instructions . If I had been staying longer than one night I would have asked for help.

The rooms were very lovely and homely. Very warm and came with loads of extras, good selection of beverages, for the price we felt as if we were underpaying the hotel. would of paid double just to stay here, Very good hotel would recommend to everyone.

It was the best hotel room I have stayed in in a while (and I have stayed in a few!) the bed was so comfortable usually it takes me ages to fall asleep but my friend tells me I fell asleep in the middle of talking about something LOL

The fact that there was no restaurant to have breakfast first thing in the morning or even get room service.

Great Golf. Fabulous Fitness and Spa facility, lovely comfortable rooms.

Poor breakfast buffet, eggs overdone, greasy bacon, undercooked sausages. Staff could not care less. A real shame as the hotel is wonderful

the car park needs tarmacking as there were few pot holes and surface water-the hotel sign needs to be bigger and more visible at night

The room looked exactly like it did on the picture if not better. It was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was gorgeous and we enjoyed our bathrobes!! Could not fault it will stay again soon.

Free car parking, option for breakfast at a fair price, good location, quiet room, nice bathroom, good price, iron and ironing board in the wardrobe

Bedroom had not been thoroughly cleaned (used tissues under the bed), hotel not clearly sign posted on the road so difficult to find when driving by.

Room was well furnished and well equipped. Easy parking.

The name of the hotel had changed - I booked at The Clarion just a few day before - much driving up and down road on wet, busy day to find the hotel. An email to all booked guests would have been a simple courtesy. Key did not work to room and could not work out heating controls.

I liked the queen size room was nice and comfortable!

The receptionist wasn't there when I arrived for about 15 minutes, an then she also did not have my booking in front of her

We stayed in the new Executive Rooms, they were very nice, decor was nice, the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. We were in Birmingham for an exhibition and arrived very late, around 2am. The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and efficient, especially as he was also trying to deal with a group of quite drunk young ladies on a hen night. The location on the Hagley Road is very good, there are no public areas so to speak, so this really is a hotel just for sleeping in. All in all good value for money and nice place.

The receptionist on check out the following morning was one of the rudest I've every encountered. She was on the phone when we dropped our keys and they were taken without looking up and without any acknowledgement.

Very clean. Secure carpark with CCTV and gates that locked which was brilliant. Lovely room and would definitely use again!

We had a quiet room overlooking a courtyard /backyard. In addition, the spacious queensize bed was obviously new and very comfortable. The design of the room (earth colours and dark red) was pleasant. The free off-road parking in a fenced-off area was a decisive factor in booking this hotel.

Nothing springs to mind: we just had the one night before driving to the airport.

we had a lovely stay- all the furnishings were lovely and comfortable and the staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind. We would recommend The Clarion Collection Birmingham to anyone travelling to the area.

The room was obviously new and the decoration was exactly as advertised. Clean and quiet. Bus stop outside Hotel for City centre. Easy walking distance to Botanical gardens.

Not a problem for us but there is still building work being carried out between the reception and restaurant - when finished this will enhance the whole place.

The breakfast was really nice and had alot of space for parking

The layout was horrible, dull and gloomy. The hot water didn't work in the shower, we moved rooms only to find the water didn't work at all. On our last room the cold water from the shower didn't work. We didn't bother move again jus used the bath instead. Wouldn't stay here again.

Friendly helpful staff. The queen bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The rooms are lovely and clean, good shower. 10 minutes walk or short bus ride outside hotel to top of broad steet, with ample safe secure eear parking. Love this place!

Nothing i would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel worth every penny...it should be a four star hotel as it has everything you need. Equivalent to the hilton hotel...I would definitely recommend anyone to try it out.

Outside doesnt look as nice.. but its a nice suprise when you go inside you have a high class modern rooms.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and clean, there was complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a safe and good hair dryer. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and so relatively quiet.

The communal areas are in need of refurbishment and this is currently being undertaken.

The bedroom was obviously recently renovated as was the bathroom. Both were of a good standard. Well placed with plenty of parking the hotel offers value for money....as a 3* hotel.

The hotel is still under going major renovation work so areas are still bare plaster board. The food was competent but not 4* price was fair for what was produced. No wine list.....only house!

Comfy beds. Free car park. Bus stop outside. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value. Close walking distance to ASK and TGI Fridays and 5 min drive to nightlife and 10 to city centre shopping. Best hotel I've stayed at on Hagley Road, out of 5 or 6 hotels.

Shower went from hot to cold and vica versa a few times. Key card reset on the second day so had to go back down to reception when we couldn't get in room.
