There was a problem with the bathroom and i was moved to another room immediately without any fuss. Very cold weather and room lodge was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Lovely continental breakfast. Very friendly service. I would highly recommend this lodge. one can get the bus to Stansted Airport for £ 1.20. - The staff was very friendly

The owner is a very kind person, very professional and with a fantastic sense of humour! The acomodation is perfect for its purpose, very calm place, clean, cosy and easy to use. The self-service breakfast was also perfect. Really 15 minutes away from the airport walking and 2 minutes by car as described. Perfect for those who like the country-side

Remarc House was great, I walked there from the Stansted Airport. Extremely high quality bedding and amenities for what looks like just a house from the outside. -

equipped and very clean, great view across the fields and countryside.

We loved that staying here was about as close to being in your own home as you can get. The location is perfect for getting to Stansted airport quickly. The room was everything you could hope for in a bed and breakfast with super comfy beds and wonderful choices for breakfast to include freshly baked croissants made to order. Free parking, free wifi, open stocked kitchen, toys for the kids to play with, close to IWM Duxford and Cambridge and warm welcoming owners...what more could you need?

After experiencing various of the airport hotels close to Stansted, a stay at Lancaster's (on the basis of the reviews here) came as a delightful surprise. It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not
horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food
for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock.
For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs
(I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met
were friendly and helpful.

The BandB was wonderful. a real charming lodge and area. The hosts were very friendly and could not have done more, would highly recommend a stay here to a charmless hotel - Adequate room, warm, cosy and very clean - plenty of hot water! Breakfast was ample. Location to airport was good. Onsite parking. Airport drop-off/pick-up.
