A very friendly 'home from home ' hotel. As a woman staying on my own i felt safe and secure. The staff were welcoming and friendly at all times and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel. - The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The food excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely position and grounds and although we didnt go into the club we could have booked through reception.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities

From the moment I was greeted by the lady of the Hotel, I felt welcome.
I was given a very comfortable - if modest double room for a single

We really enjoyed our stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel. Our double room was lovely, very clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, in particular the young lady who checked us in at the front reception desk. As we had never visited Southampton before, we had a few tourist type questions and the young lady was happy to help us and answered all of our questions. Accommodation, service and cuisine was exceptional value for money Staff were friendly and helpful in Reception. The room (which was an upgrade) was lovely, wonderfully comfortable and beautifully appointed, all in all a wonderful hotel in which to relax and unwind. ~I have never been to Southampton before but I enjoyed only being 10mins from shops and other attractions. The hotel staff were very helpfuland answered questions promptly. They phoned before we arrived to make sure we knew that the hotel was on the southbound side of the motorway otherwise we would have had to walk through the underpass to the hotel. The size of the room was excellent and was nice and warm when we arrived. -

Good value for money, can't complain about price.
However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower.

receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

ηταν σε κεντρικο σημειο. - It is close to the shopping centre. Any where we wanted to go was within walking distance. It was only a short distance from the cruise ship terminals. - Spot-on location,very clean and staff very helpfull
