Dila Suites was perfect. Deniz and Ali, the owners, are wonderful people: generous, kind, and extremely helpful. Deniz makes a wonderful breakfast, helped us with all our restaurant and hammam bookings, gave us sunblock and water and travel cards, and was just generally great. Dila Suites itself is beautiful, clean, and has a lovely roof for breakfast and lounging. The location is great -- in Beyoglu, 2 minutes from Istikal Caddesi, a nice walk from Galata tower.

The wonderful hotel in the heart of ancient town. We lived in apartments - it was great. Good heated room, super friendly staff (more friendly than in 5 stars hotels!!!!. 3-4 min to shopping area and 4-5 min to good small buffets and stores. Excellent !!!

Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).

Hotel and staff is nice. The rooms are small but with aircon and a small fridge. For a night or 2, it is very good. Also located at 5mn walking distance from the main street with restaurants.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from before starting the holiday with advice about how to move around the city. The hotel is at the very end of Istiklal street from Taksim, so it is a bit of a 15 min walk from the big plaza (if it can be called that). -
Good location, between old city and Taksim square...just in the shopping/restaurant/clubs area! I say this is the best!

Also I found the reception personnel very available and very client and service oriented, with advises suggestions and really very welcoming. I felt like at home even when staying far away from home.
