This small hotel is all about the views, perched on top of a very steep hill with awesome postcard views of Goreme and surrounding areas. The common patio area and terraces were just so inviting and relaxing after a long day's sightseeing and a wonderful way to watch the sun set, even though the hotel itself is very close to sunset point.

Ahmet was extremely welcoming and helpful! We were offered an
additional breakfast the first morning we arrived, we took the night
bus and had a tour right after, so it was really nice. Btw, the
breakfast was excellent, the best we had in Turkey. Just before we left
(after a whole-day visiting), he said we could take a shower before
getting on the bus, which is really really nice!! We had the room on

I loved Local Cave Hotel. The manager Mehmet was supper nice giving me really good tips of what to do. With so much to do around Kappadokia, it helps to have someone pointing out the right direction with the best tour companies and restaurants to experience. Sometimes you meet an exceptional person who touches your life. Murat,
who runs this hotel, is such a person. He makes all his guests feel very
welcome and comfortable, he helps them to plan their days and even takes

My son and I enjoyed the environment of Capadoccia but would not have
been able to do so without the help of the staff at Takaev who organised
the balloon trip, tours, transfers and provided us with information
about local sights and facilities. Staff were gentle in their approach,
efficient in their delivery and had a wicked albeit understated sense of
humour. I would have loved to take them with us for the rest of our

The room was quite authentic and cozy; not very spacious but enough to
accommodate a young couple. It had a big bathroom with a traditional

The owner was incredibly friendly, finding time to giving us a lift to and from the bus station, along with sitting down for a good hour discussing the possible options and routes we could take in touring Goreme. We really enjoyed one of the larger rooms (2) with its private hammam. What a lovely location and delightful hosts! We took advantage of the tour led by the owner's father, Hasan. Everything here was perfect right from the start. I emailed Maron Stone House only a day before i arrived re. Pick up from the bus station and they replied very quickly.

we recently did a sisters reunion holiday and narrowed the destination down to cappadocia and Istanbul. And our stay at Maron Stone House was one of the highlights of our Holiday. 4 of us shared a room that was comfortable and spacious. The manager Adam was one of the nicest people we met - he organised our entire trip and even took us shopping to spots and helped us get bargains. Arif Hotel has been built on one of the best locations. I know many
people like downtown for accommodation but Arif Hotel definitely worth
the twice daily 5 minutes walk. It is only a few meters below the best
lookout point from which you can see clearly the hot air balloons at
sunrise and the beautiful sunsets. The hotel is a multi storey structure
partially carved in the rocks. The rooms are very clean, bed sheets and

The staff at the hotel was absolutely top-notch. Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

The suites were located close to town which made trips to grab a bite to
eat easily accessible. Staff spoke english very well and were more than

Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was
incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our
lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and
made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular.
We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our
room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Our stay at the Elysee Hotel was exceptional. The hotel manager Deniz is a phenomenal host who took care of absolutely every detail for us; car rental, hot air ballooning, horse back riding, restaurant reservation etc. The hotel owner and his wife were also most gracious, welcoming and great hosts. Its a five minute walk up/down the hill for restaurants and markets but so is the case for any other hotel probably
Breakfast is good and enjoyable
Staff, Okan and Maryam are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff is nice and do a great job.
They all make you feel at home and make the stay very enjoyable

My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. Breakfast was quite rich, buffet-style and typical.
The hotel had a private parking space and the view from our room was great: we had a large terrace in front of our stone accommodation and we could see Goreme and its Fairy Chimneys (at sunset that spot was wonderful).

The pension offers traditional basic accommodation , turkish breakfast and its perfect for a few days stay.
Superb views of Goreme, very central to all sites to visit. Tours available from the staff if required.
Would stay there again.
