The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

From the moment me and my three other friends arrived we felt
comfortable in the hands of the great staff at Chef Apartments. We had
booked a penthouse and we had plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen
and a modern and clean bathroom. The location of Chef Apartments was

This Galata Port Aparts is very nearly to Galata Bridge and Galata Tower.
You can use to metro station and republic bus stattion is very close. Karaköy Boat station is very close too.

Concierge/Reception are very friendly and try to accommodate any
requests...ask for Ahmet, he's the best! They upgraded me to a suite

Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room. Huge rooms. Kitchen well-equiped with crockery/cooking Equipment.
High spot is huge (shared) terrace with views over Bosphorous. We took dinner up there a lot of times.

We (mum, older brother and I) absolutely loved our stay at Nar Galata hotel. We stayed there for 17 days, so it truly became our home and it was a great hotel. We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.
The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

Great location. Apartments are a few steps away from Galata tower and 5
min walk to Istiklal street. There are many cafes and restaurants right
next to Galata tower. A cab ride to sultanahmet took us 10 mins and 20-
25 lira ( taxi meter better than prenegotiated rate). Manager was very

Almost all amenities included which made things easy especially with
young kids. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. -
The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.

The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and cosy. It is welle situated, from 1mm to the famous Istiklal avenue, where there is plenty of restaurants, shops, and 10 mm from the Taksim place. Akova, the hotel manager was very kind and helpfull.
