A lot of nice pubs in surrounding.
Front view, top floors are really nice deal.
Clean - the room was cleaned everyday.
We have stayed for 4+2nights.

Βολικη τοποθεσια, ευχαριστο και ενημερωμενο προσωπικο, καλη θεα στο εστιατοριο της βεραντας - It was convenient for the major attractions of Sultanhamet. The staff were friendly and the facilities were fine. Great views of Hagia Sophia from the roof terrace. The breakfasts were excellent but the dinner menu was a bit dull so we only ate there once

Very stylish new hotel in a nice district of Istanbul. We stayed for 5
days in the beginning of May, 3 days were hot, and 2 windy and rainy,
and it was equally comfortable in the room. We stayed in a standard
room: it is not big, but enough space for 2 people with a big suitcase.
The bed is very comfortable and you can have an extra blanket on req

and not far from the funicular (the transportation mean) that goes to

day). Clean and properly maintained.

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.
The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

The best thing about this hotel is its owner .. Mr. Mahmood. He is one of the most polite, kind, friendly & helpful person I have come across. Whatever your problem may be, he's always ready to help. I recently spent 5 nights in this property whilst on business in Istanbul. I would completely agree with the majority of reviews here. The highpoints of the hotel are:
a) Location - moments walk from all of the Old City attractions - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Cistern, Grand Bazaar etc etc. It is also almost right on top of a tram line that will take

b) Staff - they are friendly, efficient and funny. They actually engage with you as people rather than -
In our opinion the this was the best possible place to stay in Istanbul. The views from the dining/breakfast room were stunning. While having breakfast, we could gaze at the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sophia, the sea of Marama and many other wonderful sights. In addition to this, the hotel was only a few minutes walk from the tram stop. So we were in a perfect location not only to walk to the best of the ancient sights, but also to get the tram to other parts of the city.
