We had a very pleasant stay at Corinne. The staff is extremelly nice and helpfull, the rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also very big with large windows, marble plated, floor heating and branded cosmetics (studio deluxe). Cosy hotel with super friendly personal. Very helpful and really professional. We had a street view 403. Although the streets were very busy and noisy, you could close the windows and it was very quiet. Cenrally located, walking distance from the port and lots of restaurants. I likes the clean bathrooms and toilets, sheets and the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Especially Memet, Nayeeb and all the other reception and even security people who were always smily and friendly.

People is incredible they make you feel you are part of their own family.You can trust in the place to be a secure place to leave your things at the room or in the mean time you do a tour after the checkout! The value and quality of our "apartment" was better than most of the best hotels we have stayed at around the world. We had the top floor with the balcony/patio overlooking the Sea of Marmara and our neighborhood. Very romantic and very beautiful. We (mum, older brother and I) absolutely loved our stay at Nar Galata hotel. We stayed there for 17 days, so it truly became our home and it was a great hotel. I had a delightful surprise staying at the Taksim Star; very impressed by the room, soft yet crisp sheets; the bathroom was really clean, too!! The entire room was designed remarkably, very stylish and ingenious use of space. Very helpful, friendly and courteous staffs, and the location could not be better, near everything. -

Each time we arrived "home" to this hotel we were greeted with exceptional warmth. Arriving back after a very difficult day's travel we were treated to a share of the family's meal.....a delicious share!

View of the Bosphorus from my room and spectacular view of the Blue Mosque from the roof patio. Staff is really friendly. Turkish breakfast was great. Guests were congenial. Room was on the small side, but fine for price. Clean. Free tea and cookies when I arrived tired from long trip. Convenient location near sights and many restaurants.

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.
The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

I liked Yusufpasa Suites very much. Close to Taksim Square (~7 min on foot), from where the whole city is easily accessible. Cheap price for a comfortable and cozy room; the wooden floor is definitely a must. Furthermore, it is very close (4mn walk) to Taksim square and all its shops and restaurants. Lastly, the room possess all the amenities (mini bar, safe, kettle, etc.) you would find at Radisson or Intercontinental, but for less than a third of the cost of it (paid just around $60 for a night and price get lower when booking longer) and the staff is welcoming and speaks fluent English.. I'll happily come back to

The People, who works there, are very friendly and the Rooms were clean. We had two bedrooms, Klimaautomatik, Kitchen and more. Taxis were in Front of the Residence. It is near the Hospital, where you can laser your Eyes, 200 Meter. If you go ca. 500 Meter away, you are in the City , where you can buy clothes or something to drink and eat. We will

The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at
this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

Absolutely brilliant location and great owner/s (Binnur, who others have already mentioned. I 'ditto' all the comments about her help and great communication).
