Cosy hotel with super friendly personal. Very helpful and really professional. We had a street view 403. Although the streets were very busy and noisy, you could close the windows and it was very quiet. Cenrally located, walking distance from the port and lots of restaurants. I likes the clean bathrooms and toilets, sheets and the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Especially Memet, Nayeeb and all the other reception and even security people who were always smily and friendly.

I had a delightful surprise staying at the Taksim Star; very impressed by the room, soft yet crisp sheets; the bathroom was really clean, too!! The entire room was designed remarkably, very stylish and ingenious use of space. Very helpful, friendly and courteous staffs, and the location could not be better, near everything. -

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

My stay at Rixos Hotel had a taste from heaven. Rixos is simply the best hotel in Istanbul, speacially for families with kids. This is the friendliest hotel I ever stayed and its not surprise that guests return year after year. holidayed here for 5 days 29 April-3 May 2013 with my wife and 7 years son,and I can honestly say it is one best places I have ever stayed. The rooms were comfortable and the AC worked great! It's also in a great location - just a short walk from Taksim Square. The best part of the hotel was the staff - they literally ran through tear gas with us to help us make our way to a shuttle for an early morning flight. Beyond these mild heroics, they also were very valuable in helping us navigate the city, make plans, and were responsive to any room-related requests we had.

From the moment we arrived the time we spent in this hotel was wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive, room was excellent, food was good. Konak Hotel is the best - We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in

Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

We had our trip since 17 till 22 of april. The location is so close to
the tram station, amazing view from the terrace, neither noise nor quite
place - perfect place, stuff is polite and helpful, if you travel on
your own they are glad to show you the way and explain everything you

The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -
