The staff was friendly. There was a free shuttle 3 times daily to Taksim
Square and Sultanahmet, the driver was polite and very careful with the
passengers' safety. The room was clean, had all facilities, we have
really felt like home. The breakfast was rich. Nearby there is a
supermarket and a few restaurants/cafes. It is close to highway.
There was parking underground and outside in front of the hotel. The
internet connection was good.

People is incredible they make you feel you are part of their own family.You can trust in the place to be a secure place to leave your things at the room or in the mean time you do a tour after the checkout! We (mum, older brother and I) absolutely loved our stay at Nar Galata hotel. We stayed there for 17 days, so it truly became our home and it was a great hotel. We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

My stay at Rixos Hotel had a taste from heaven. Rixos is simply the best hotel in Istanbul, speacially for families with kids. The hotel is beautifully designed, very class with baroque-style furnishings which I love. Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA. Don't be put off by the buildings in the area, the hotel was the best we stayed in, throughout our trip to Turkey. -

Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!).

This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us.
