The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at
this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about
this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run
(though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs
about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The

Breakfast -
A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

From the first moment till the last second, they make you feel you are the only person in the hotel. Hospitality is awesome and also the facilities. -
Rooms are beyond excellent. Extremely spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and professional.

Αξιοσημείωτη ειναι επίσης και η ασφάλεια που αισθάνεσαι απο τα μέτρα που λαμβάνονται απο την security του ξενοδοχείου τόσο στo front gate όσο και στο lobby

Truly relaxing environment in a quiet clean town,location is perfect,as for the staff,not enough words to describe my warm feelings towards each and everyone,friendly,professional,courteous,always doing that extra touch to help,spa and gym simply great,equipment and staff,gourmet cuisine,first time I shake hands with everyone on front desk reception and concierge at departure,will definitely repeat it...so much more to say and tell

It was really enjoyable stay at Movenpick Istanbul, so comfortable, so

Hospitality , since my arrival wellcoming spirit with everyone , every
one wants to help . I also noticed a precsion in everything I asked for.
Before leaving the hotel , I was planned to have a taxi pick up at 4:45
in the morning . at 3:30 am ,safe box in my room failed to open with all
my valuables inside (passport , air ticket , money..) I picked up the
phone and asked for help , a few minutes later a smily guest service
personell came over and open it for me . I expected to have some delay

We stayed only a night at the hotel and did not have time to see hotels facilities and services. But rooms were confortable and staff were good. -
Nice big rooms with clean carpets and furniture. Very nice bathroom.

Excellent location at walking distance to main attractions, reasonable prices for food and minibar, nice seaview, good breakfast, kids menu option via room service. Our suite was already prepared on arrival with the extra bedding for our 6 and 8 years daughters. The rate via LetsBookHotel.com was lower than the one at reception. We appreciated the
