This small hotel is all about the views, perched on top of a very steep hill with awesome postcard views of Goreme and surrounding areas. The common patio area and terraces were just so inviting and relaxing after a long day's sightseeing and a wonderful way to watch the sun set, even though the hotel itself is very close to sunset point.

Ahmet was extremely welcoming and helpful! We were offered an
additional breakfast the first morning we arrived, we took the night
bus and had a tour right after, so it was really nice. Btw, the
breakfast was excellent, the best we had in Turkey. Just before we left
(after a whole-day visiting), he said we could take a shower before
getting on the bus, which is really really nice!! We had the room on

We stayed 3 nights in Village Cave House Hotel and had a great time. The building itself was an old cave and our room was historically used as a kitchen. There was even an old fashion oven in the middle of the room- we loved it!! It was very nice and cosy. Also the owner was very helpful and friendly. This is such a great boutique hotel with warmth and style. I stayed here

Safran Cave Hotel is family-owned and operated. The owners were warm,
very hospitable, and welcoming to our children. The owner's son Avni
is fluent in English and very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean,
beautifully decorated, have flat screen TVs with access to hundreds of
channels, a fridge with minbar, and a designer bathroom. The breakfast
was delicious and our children loved the many different choices. We

The staff at the hotel was absolutely top-notch. Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

The suites were located close to town which made trips to grab a bite to
eat easily accessible. Staff spoke english very well and were more than
accomodating booking us tours, storing our luggage and offering us

Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was
incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our
lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and
made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular.
We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our
room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. Yusuf the owner cum caretaker is a great advisor. He gives advice when asked for and prudent. The entire staff was very helpful and accomodating with flexibility in checking out. It's a small hotel so you will know everyone from the hotel. We had so much fun with the nice staff and the passionate turkish family who also stayed in the hotel. among all the hotels we stayed in turkey (2wks) this one has the best value for its price. highly recommend!

Grand Cave Suites was a magnificent place to stay; carved out of part of one of the many Faerie Chimneys there in Goreme, the rooms give you an amazing feeling of wonderment. Ours had two windows that opened to a beautiful view of Goreme and other carved sandstone-like spires. At sunrise, you could see many hot-air balloons ascending in the sky. Fabulous! The owner and manger so thoughtful. They called our room early (at 0700) to say breakfast was ready--in order to avoid the rush of a tour

The staff was courteous and very helpful with all our needs. The room was very large with king sized bed and a beautiful view for the local fairy chimneys which populate the valley. The pool was very pleasant, relaxing, and private. -

Faith, the owner, was super nice and helpful. He arranged our bike
rental for the 1st day, the blue tour on the second day, and the hot air
balloon flight, and everything was perfect, and for a reasonable price.
He answered all our questions, not few, always with great treatment. The
hotel facilities, room, toilet, shower, everything was clean and working
properly. Breakfast also very nice, with fruits, eggs, bread, jams, etc,
on the lovely terrace with great views from Capadoccia. Thanks you

The hotel is a family run hotel. Fevzi and Merdan are wonderful! The family treated us like their friends during our stays. As a frequent traveller, I must say this is one of the best places
I've stayed.
The place is nicely decorated -- not too much, but with a genuine touch of warmth.
The breakfast is delicious, although it repeats the same menu everyday, what they offer are nutritious and I've never gotten tired of eating healthy and delicious breakfast.

The hotel is as advertised, our room was a cave room, very pretty. The
owner/manager Sahin was a very helpful person, and guided us
around the area in a very good manner. The hotel is quite high up the
hills (so it is a bit of a climb!), and there is a good view from the
terrace itself.
If you go, say hi to lucky the dog for me.
CAUTION - I think the caves are still evolving, as you would find dust and tiny particles over the floor in the morning. People with allergies or such should stay clear
