We loved the location of this place it was close to the river and a taxi boat stop and as the temple is right outside there was always a selection of tuks tuks around day and night. The accomodation was very good and the bed comfortable however it is perhaps reasonably expensive for what you actually get. -
Everything, the interior, the decor, the location, the excellent staff.
They infact arranged for our early checkin. Great place if you want to
relax and not visit the bkk town more often. The staff prepared a dinner
for us even when it was close to shutting for the night. Very helpful
and delightful stay.

The Asadang hotel provides a good mix of old and modern so that a
traveler could feel Thailand's traditions and enjoy the comfort of
today's amenities during the stay. The room and other hotel areas
(reception, breakfast room, balcony) are tastefully decorated with
antique items - the owners thought of all the minute details and it is
noticeable.

Great little hotel with beautiful gardens. We have chosen it because of
its location. It is 15 minutes away from Grand Palace and Wat Po and it
is opposite Wat Rachabophit which was a bonus. We also liked the fact
that is wasn't near busy street or on horribly loud and busy Khao

Feung Nakorn Balcony is a hidden gem in Bangkok and it took some digging
on various websites to find out about this place. It is a hostel that
offers many types of room configurations for either the solo traveler,
groups or family.It was perfect for our trip since there were three of
us and we had a triple room. We were looking for reasonably priced
lodging within reach of the Grand Palace and Khao San Road area and this

This hotel was only days old when we stayed so we only booked our first night in Bangkok here as we were unsure what it would be like. Upon walking through the front door I immediately extended our stay for the duration of our trip. Chern hostel was an excellent place to stay. We got a twin room and it
was quite large and very comfortable with all facilities included. Very
large, open eating space with cutlery and hot water available to make
your own food. Beautiful layout, very open spaced and brightly lit in a
very new building. Thai proverbs are written on the walls throughout the

I spent with my wife 5 nights in this hotel in Nov 2013. Hotel is quite new and really worth recommendation.
I am able to list only adventages.
Staff is very helpfull (they can arrange you taxi or tuk tuk without any extra fee) and friendly as well. Hotel restaurant / caffe offers good breakfast (you can choose one of 5 sets - ofcourse beverages

The Warehouse is a great bargain that provides all the necessary amenities. The room was perfectly adequate, the staff outstanding (except for one young man who didn't arrange for our metered-taxi one morning), and although the location is a bit off the beaten track and definitely not upscale, we loved being part of an authentic Thai neighborhood. Staff is very friendly, the hotel is clos to Khaosan road, they book ataxi if you need it, the rooms are very nice, its very quiet - All the above plus location was convenient to sites, easy walking distance to restaurants,etc.

This 'hostel' is more of a guesthouse with clean and comfortable rooms and a shared bathroom/shower facilities. The breakfast was good and from the location it is easy to reach Khaosan Road and many of the beautiful temples. This was the third time I have stayed here and will do so again!
