Although it is only three star, everything is absolutely brand new. The size of the shower room is amazing. We has a room which led right onto the pool. The owners really enjoy their work. They are so friendly and helpful, as are all the staff. I found it hard to believe what others had said about and how high they had rated it, but yes it just as good as they said. From now on when we stay in Kanchanaburi we will stay there. We were very impressed with just about everything. Can't wait until.
όλα τα σχόλια » good times resort is the best and most charming place we've been during our whole thailand trip:) the whole staff (especially the female boss) is friendly and offer u help eveytime u need it (daytrips,transfers,...) affordable hotelfood is tasty, rooms and pool are clean and the almost finished terrace next to river will be a romantic place to have dinner. river kwai bridge is just 2 km away. all in all the resort is well-groomed and absolutely worth for money u pay!!we would like to come back. As soon as we got of the bus we were welcomed by very friendly staff that could not of helped us more during our stay! When we missed breakfast they would wrap it up to take away, when going on long journeys for tours (that they had booked and organised for us!) they would chase the bus down just to give us some water to take. Hotel itself is lovely, very clean, pool is great and beautiful riverside resturant. Loved this hotel! Will deffo be going back! <3. Small resort, located on the road between the town center and the yours.bridge, where you can find restaurants and other services. Inside the resort, I found beautiful surroundings, including canals, a pool, and a dining room located right on the river. Room was spacious (and it's better to have one on the second floor), but pretty standard. Resort has its own tour operator, and the friendly staff can book tours. A well run and super friendly that well deserves its high rating. The welcome received was as equally friendly throughout our stay. The rooms are superb as is the water side restaurant serving a balanced and decently priced range of thai and western foods. All in all, the Good Times resort provides the traveller all that is necessary to make your stay in Khanchanaburi as pleasant as possible - highly commended. good times resort is the perfect place to explore kanchanaburi and its surroundings. the staff is perfectly nice and helpful to organise every trip without pressuring for expensive tours. they have a very good restaurant nearby the river with tasty local dishes. the rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and the AC does a good job. it is a place to chill out and relax - we would stay here again, definitely!. Everything. This place is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The people are fantastic and go out of their way to help you no matter how strange or silly the question. Great value for money. The pool was great after a day of sight seeing. To top it all off it is about a 7 minute walk to the Bridge, and did I mention the food was fantatic! Great place, I can't wait to return. It was a great resort, with a big pool and nice restaurant. The owner is helpful and gives us good advice about traveling and tours. She also looked after her costumers. The staff is also nice and will give you a warm welkom. The restaurant have some nice meals, even for in the morning, afternoon and evening. the staff was super friendly and welcoming. the room was so clean and comfortable. the bathroom too was large and clean. the pool was beautiful specially at night. the restaurant was affordable with a perfect view of the river khwai. very accessible location. New pool but we didn't use. It is a brand new hotel, so everything is in a perfect condition. The riverside restaurant was still being built, but the kitchen was finished so you could eat there. Everyone in the resort makes sure your stay is memorable. Very close to the restaurants/ pubs area and the historic bridge. for 2 nights it's perfect. You will take the bike and go to the bridge over the river kwai. And the coolest thing to do in kanchanaburi is helping at the elephant world the whole day. Everything! Lovely location, setting. Hotel is close to the main road, plenty of shops and eating joints available at 5 minutes walking distance. River Kwai flows on the backside of the hotel. Hotel has own tour agency and can arrange tours to any location. The staff was very helpful and it appears that the hotel has contracted the running to a family, so this arrangement has its own limitations. nothing!!. Only thing I would add is more sun chairs around the pool when the hotel is complete. Other then that nothing!. While the staff was friendly, not everyone knew English (well, that's Thailand). nothing!!. Nothing !!!!. nothing negative to say. Hotel was in the process of having their restaurant built so the kitchens were near the new restaurant and eating the other side of hotel. Meant that the evening meal was a bit disorganised but hopefully this will be fixed soon. nothing. No problems, one of my two favorite hotels on this trip. Nothing. It's a perfect place to stay :-). Only two choices for breakfast. There could be more options. Only instant coffee is served- would be nice to have a fresh cuppa in the morning!. Construction workers all day at work, because hotel is not yet finished. It will take at least 6 months...but during the day we were gone, so not a problem at all!. Nothing to dislike!. Not good soundproofing between rooms. some building wok going on, but did not affect our stay in any way. Nothing. We paid extra to take tour as Private and we felt very rushed and there was no flexibility as we had hoped to change one of The stops for more time at a different spot . If trains involved Be prepared for long random and unexpected delays !. All good. Still under construction, however not really a negative point. They forgot cleaning on the second day, because there was a lot work to do. Staying in a hotel means cleaning every day. breakfast preparing is not good. Still under construction, minimal room comforts, inconsistency with staff. There is no room service. Rooms are not well maintained. We had taken two rooms and both has water logging problem in the bathroom. Hotel surrounding is still under construction, so lot of debris around. Restaurant service is very poor.
