The location is very near BTS. Easy connection to airport. Good hawker food nearby. Friendly staff.

I stayed in room 403. Mattress was old n I could feel the spring. Water heater temperature was cold. Air conditioner needs cleaning because the vents are moldy. Toiletries are not provided except for a small piece of soap. Do make this known on the booking site. Towels were torn and had stains. I hope the owner will look into all the above. It would not cost anything much but would instead let the guests have a good stay.

10 seconds walk from the train Good location for excellent street food options (go across the street with the train on it. Turn left and walk past the 7/11. Food is next street on the right). Good price.

The room had a serious ant problem (you can't store any unsealed food there). While the rooms are cheap, they are quite small. The 'door' to the bathroom is pointless and see through.

Clean, simple, modern rooms. Great location by the BTS and soi 38's legendary street food. Helpful staff Great value, still expensive but this is Bangkok after all!

Great Location, clean room.

The room faced Sukhumvit Road and was a bit noisy from the traffic.

Good service, good location. Rooms are perfect for the price. Free coffee, free wifi and free smile :-)

No vietnamese channel on tv :-)

I live in Chiang Mai and use to come in Bangkok for my company. I found this guest house as I need to use the BTS and I coudnt expecting location is as close as that to the skytrain. Room are well decorated, I stay in 306 that is white and red color. Room is big enought for me. There are many Thai channels and movies in English. I need air and it is working fine. Thai people are very nice. I share some food with them for lunch hihih. Price is very good for bangkok for air room. I got superior. Next month I will come here again for sure.

No lift but staff help me for lugguage.

I had a wonderful stay at Padi Madi from June 20-23, 2013. Receptionists are very accommodating. Pimmy, for one, gave me Bangkok Map and taught me directions to reach my destination for that day. padi Madi is so close to Thong Lo BTS Sukhumvit Line which gives you access almost to all attractions especially Shopping Malls and Silom, for gay night life. They even allowed me to stay a few hours beyond the 12nn check-out time. Its budget friendly too. You dont go to Bangkok to stay whole day in your room, but to explore the city, so you wont need a 5-star room anyways. You will be out of the hotel for many hours. But when you need to rest, Padi Madi can give you the comfort that you need with its cute thai designed room, super soft bed, and super cool AC. There's hot and cold shower too. Their wifi is also fast. For Solo travelers like me, I suggest that you check out Padi Madi. Very accessible to and from the Airport. Thanks to the french owner too whom, I badly wished, I had the chance to do karaoke with.

It was never an issue to me, but Padi Madi doesn't have service elevator. Since I love walking and climbing up the stairs (my room is on the 4th floor), I never have complained. I always go down stair whenever I needed to smoke since all rooms are non-smoking. But its ok. Walking is still a form of Excercise. =)

-room charge is reasonable -the staff is very kind, polite, smily :) -near by thonglor BTS station, convinience!! I'd like to use it again.

I stayed 3 nights at Padi Madi guest house. Basicly I booked for a standard room but they upgrade us for free 2 nights as they had overbook on standard room. Standard room is very good for the price. All conform we need was inside. Many channels on tv, good bed and room has aircon, really needed in Bangkok. If you need bigger room just book superior. I don’t know how much is price diffent but it was a so great room. I love the design of this room red and white. Also location is just perfect for shopping as skytrain station is just 10 seconds walk. Even if it is rainning it is not a big deal to come back with bags. About the staff, thanks to Pimmy for all the advises for shopping malls. Specially Pratunam very chaep and so big. I hope can come to Bangkok again soon. There is a nice street for dinner near guest house on night time. Also, there is a big swimming pool just 5 minutes walk from Padi madi. The owner bring us there. Just 120thb. I really this guest house and this location in Bangkok.

Due to a change in flight I really only used for the afternoon and early evening but they were friendly and helpful and the room large and airy, perfect for an amazing feed in the recomended local food area of sukhimvit 38 before napping before my flight. Good tours offered and breakfast can even be delivered! Safe secure comfortable friendly and a great location!! I am looking forward to my next stay next month before ending my holiday. Local to great food amd good bars Witches Tavern just down the road among many others plus right near MRT Thong Lo if you need to get anywhere else. Plus a quick bike taxi to airport link. Next time I have more than just a stop over I kmpw exactly where to stay!!

Good shower, no water on bathroom floor, AC was excellent. Real lamp for bed!

Few TV channels on english, at checking out: no one to receive the room key, tried to reach by phone, but...

Room was clean & free wifi is fast. Also includes an in-room safe. Location is excellent, just seconds from Thong Lor bts on the Sukhumvit line. Also pretty close to the airport by metered cabs around 200 baht only. Room was clean & staff spoke English. Also allowed me to store my luggage after checkout.

Room was a little small but it was ok for a solo traveller. Window blinds need to be darker for late risers.

The attention and genuine desire to make you feel special by the managers and staff, was appreciated very much. Very clean room, great bed to sleep in, and Sky Train station right around the corner was so convenient. We can totally recommend this as an affordable yet very comfortable spot to choose when in Bangkok

Street noise was a tiny factor, it was really is not a problem for us We were told that Padi Madi will be installing double pane windows shortly that will for the light sleeper make this guest house complete

Clean room With comfy bed. friendly helpful staff close to BTS & Pattaya buses.

Smallish room near corner of busy Sukhumvit Rd so a bit of traffic noise. common fridge & microwave.

Overall, good stay at Padi Madi. Location in Sukumvit neighborhood area was near BTS subway line (Thong Lo) which was convenient to all points Bangkok. Room was nice size with good bedding and safe. WiFi was excellent as well as cable TV options. Boiling pot for coffee/tea nice touch. Quiet venue. Hosts were generally helpful.

There was a major ant problem on dresser. Bathroom was small and cramped. No price adjustment for a 3:00am (local) arrival time (including waiting outside in rain for 1 hour for hosts to arrive and open up hotel--even though notice of late arrival given). No apology either.

clean and tidy room, good speed on wifi,near BTS Thonglo Station, friendly and good talking staffs. So far so good indeed with the budget price.

the water is small which out from shower pump in the shower room. A lot ants on the table...:(

The location is good and bad. Right next to bts Thong Lor station, easy access to independent traveling in Bangkok - and right next to Sukhumvit road. Noise. Noise. Noise. Bed ok. Shower/toilet - could be better, but for one night I could live with it. Smell came from the toilet, musty and not a pleasure to use. Best point. Huge mug for making tea and coffee, free water, coffee, tea and water-heater.

The traffic and guest noise. I didn't get much sleep. The guesthouse seems to be made of cardboard. There is nothing between you and the noise. The room is smaller than it is advertised as.

the location is perfect.

the receptions are not nice. and please never ever get your clothes get laundry here. i sent some white shirts and it came back turning into dark grey, and they said can not responsible or that and also no sorry from them.

very close to the BTS ,about 1 minute of walking. the price was okay.

-staff not friendly -very small room -very narrow hallways , needed to walk about 3 minutes from reception to get to my room -transparent door to the bathroom -i would not recommend this to anyone.
