Good value, great location - short walk to pier and main drag, pretty good little beach for snorkelling at the bottom of the path. Big clean bungalow with deck and great view of sea/sunsets, friendly staff.
Great location, in front of the beach and close to lots of bars. From there you can easily rent a scooter and cruise in the island.

Lovely bungalow.
Right by the water, privacy- no close neighbours.
The location of the bungalow is nice with sea-view and close to
restaurants and shops. The bungalow is basic but if you are on a budget
is a fine place. Also absence of air-con is not a big deal since the sea
breeze makes it not too hot.
Queen resort is in a great location between sairee beach and Mae haad. This was the cheapest place we found with ac in the area.
It had a very nice view for the price that we payed. Big rooms. Good location.
We could hear the waves crashing as we slept. We were right on the ocean.

Not much. Although there was a hot shower in the unit, the water sometimes came out in bursts rather than a steady stream. The check-in girl told me to pay my motorcycle taxi guy 100 baht for a 2-minute ride but I later learned that most taxi rides on Koh Tao are this expensive.
As all the island it's trash. Plastic bottles and other stuffs all around the place.
bungalows are too close to each other so you can always hear and see your neighbours.
Bins were not changed during our stay.

Absent staff.
Bungalow is quite easy to break in. In Koh Tao there's almost no
criminality, but we were not very relaxed leaving valuables there. Staff
is a little superficial with no extra info about the island and early
closing times of reception. Quite a lot of mosquitos.
We stayed 5 nights and our room wasn't cleaned once.
The path to the room was dodgy and we found a spider in the room but it guess it was part of the wildlife.
Staff didnt seem too concerned about hospitality. They were very laid back I guess.

The rooms were only cleaned upon request, the furniture was dated and the rooms were very hot with fans only.
Door don t close very well.
The bungalow and the whole place is pretty run down. Trash everywhere, holes in the ceiling, hardly any water coming out of the shower and ungood smell.....! There are a lot of places on Koh Tao much better for the same price!.
