-Close to main customer ZHAW. -Winterthur seems a sleepy town, where in my experience after nine pm it is hard to find a place to eat; not with the Loge Hotel as on the ground floor there is a small pub/restaurant that has a kichen with extended opening hours.

No reception but key is easy to collect from the box on the wall. The
room is soooooo big for the price if you just visited tourism place like
Venice.... It is clean and safe,modern decoration, a balcony with table
and chairs. Close to the tram station which takes about less than 15
minutes travel to train station. I even forgot to take the key with me
while going out for a walk, after calling reception the kind lady
patiently instruct me the way to get in. Would come back again.

valuable price considering it is in Switzerland. It has a public kitchen in each floor (actually only 3 rooms per floor). Fortunately the other 2 room guests don't use the kitchen, so the kitchen turn to be ours. about 7-8 mins to walk to the bus station, not an easy work for the first trial to catch the bus to the city center, but much easier aft

Our stay at Guesthouse Weststrasse was fine. We had no problems finding
it nor checking in. The key code was emailed prior to arriving and it
worked fine for accessing the key from the key box. It was in a good
location, close enough to town to walk, we walked everywhere, it was
easy. Its also close to the tram line too. Room again was fine, nothing
flashy but it was clean.

Apartment was clean, had everything we needed, but the floors were creaking. I read other reviews about area but we didn't hear any noise around at night like others say. It was an easy walk to the train station & close to the main shopping area as well as old town. -

The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. Moreover, we were given the rooms much earlier than the check in time. It was very helpful as we had travelled overnight by train and needed to refresh ours

- The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also.
- The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around.
- The room was clean.
- There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs.
- The staff were professional.

Room was quite big, and had a nice wardrobe, a fridge, a table and a little sofa.
Location was OK, close to the station. Not very convenient if carrying heavy baggage (15 mins walk from Zurich HB).

The room was huge, like a small apartment. It had everything we needed inside (kitchen with a stove and microwave, hairdryer, ventilator, alarm clock, iron) - all these facilities make your life easier and more comfortable.
We had a room with the windows on the quiet street, so no noise from the railway.

The room was luxurious. The windows opened onto the woods with a river bubbling beyond. The dinner was the high light. Haut cuisine would well describe it. The owner/chef greeted us at the door. The hotel is very nice and charmy, elegant and surrounded by an amazing countryside. The staff is extremely kind and efficient. The location is perfect for visiting Zuerich, Zug, Lucern.

We were put in the Best Western part of the facility because the Flexihome was full. It turned out to be lucky for us since we were told the Flexihome Apts. are very small and not nearly as nice as the Best Western right in front of it. The restaurant was also very nice but a bit expensive.

had a late snack at the rather overpriced and very modern Belvoir. -
everything is so great about the hotel! it's a little far from the center, but it only takes 15 min to the Zurich HB by train. the room is quite big and clean, and the facilities work well. the best thing about the hotel is its surrounding environment. trees and flowers are everywhere. staff there are so kind and helpful.
