We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. Hotel had been fully refurbished and was well equipped, excellent decor and very clean. Breakfast was good, which could be taken outside on the verandah. Parking is good - either right outside the hotel or in excellent secure garage about 100m up the road. Parking must be reserved as they only have 5 spaces in the garage and at the hotel. Location

We only stayed over for a night during over travels and found the hotel quite comfortable. The room was small with a tiny bathroom, but efficient for one night. The restaurant is brilliant – their home-made pasta delicious!
The hotel was conveniently situated next to the station.
