Reasonably priced old style, small hotel with a very friendly owner, and a really nice Italian restaurant, in a great location. No TV or WiFi, which was actually great too! Hope to go back again! -

The hotel is right in the centre of Meiringen, with shops and a few restaurants nearby. It has good WiFi access, and free outdoor parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was OK, with fresh bread, fruit, cheese and some fruit. One could boil some eggs yourself if required.

A good hotel close to the station with quick access to the ski area and in the centre of the town close to the buss station so quick access to the ski buses. The 3 room room apartment with an open sitting area and kitchen had

The apartment was perfect for our family group. We stayed for a week and
never got tired of the excellent views from the balcony! The breakfast
was a short walk away but this didn't matter as it was excellent
quality. It was also really useful to have a washing machine and kitchen
facilities so we saved a lot of money there.

Wonderful views of the Alps and the glacier, clean, with excellent service and meals, all from a hill-top location looking south. Proprietress Christine was a multi-language font of local wisdom and help to us (in English), and so too were the other staff, providing a very personal touch to a memorable experience. -

The location of this hotel is absolutely astounding. When we arrived at the hotel we were really pleased. The hotel is about half kilometre outside wonderful but slightly busy Grindelwald town.

Europe. I can honestly say that I have never encountered better value
for my money or more gracious, informative and fun hosts than the Hotel
Alpenblick. The hotel has private rooms available, but I opted for
shared accommodations for the first time in my travels. I was not let
