  It was a fantastic experience staying at the hotel. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. Special mention has to be made about Daniel Koester, Owner and Manager who personally welcomed us.   We loved everything about the hotel. The facilities were wonderful and the food was delicious. We absolutely loved the different types of sauna and the heated outdoor pool. - Fantastic location and mountain views, beautiful hotel, great spa area. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful.   Despite the fact that there wasn't a lift, the young kitchen hand took our very heavy suitcases up to our room. The staff also took our luggage to the station for us (it was only a short distance, but the footpath was wet and slippery on that morning). The room was excellent and well appointed. The staff and proprietress were - We enjoyed the welcome, the beautifully cooked evening meals, including a lovely crocodile Thai soup! Delicious. It was part of some Australian specials. There were also many Swiss dishes on the menu. The breakfast buffet was good with perfectly cooked boiled eggs. The location was perfect for train to Wengen or to drive to other places. Ursula was very attentive as we're all her staff. The bedrooms were good and the beds extremely comfortable. Very clean. We will return in the spring.
