  Hotel with lots of character. Super clean rooms, spotless in fact! Large spacious rooms with sitting area, small bathroom but ok for our needs. Fab view of the fairytale castle.   My husband & I stayed with Fritz & Gabi in June for a week. The chalets are beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is just on the edge of Wilderswil away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the centre and train station, it's a perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Gabi is a great cook and breakfast was - Gabi and Fritz are very nice people, very friendly and helpful. We have planned our 2 days according to suggestions by Fritz and it turned out to be 2 perfect days for us. Fritz also tried to book a ski course for us which we have highly benefited. Building and room is pretty new, very clean and comfortable. Location is also very convenient, close to Interlaken, close to mountains, ski areas and to railway station.   We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Michael was fantastic ever willing to help in planning our day trips. Always with a cheerful smile. This is a family run hotel and I must say that it is the best hotel within the star rating that it has. They were able to tell us down to the bus times what we should see which was excellent as we only had two nights there. On arrival reception offered to pay for upgrade to better room with Jungfrau view for 80 CHF/day, we agreed, then offered to upgrade to Junior suite for 200 CHF, we refused. Then they upgareded us to Junior suite free of charge. It was pleasant. - Very nice hotel.
