We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. Small hotel with very good service and nice rooms. Central location near the railwaystation, but without disturbing noice. Side road with little traffic. Simple but tasteful breakfast. Only 5 min walk to the city center. Lovely nature around the city.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Especial details such as candies in the lobby, apples and even the fact that they changed the rugs in the elevator with the day of the week printed. The girls in the reception were extremely helpful especially the one who helped me find the nearest phone shop

Service was excellent. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all very pleasant. We felt like we had the run of the house. I visited with friends for a girl's get away, but will definitely return with my husband and daughters!

the apartment is just perfect, you'll find everything you need. it's absolutely clean & cosy, close to lugano, in summer you could even walk to the city center. also nice if traveling with kids, our 2 little ones loved the place. a special thanks to kristina for the birthday surprise for my son! ;) -
