The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. Moreover, we were given the rooms much earlier than the check in time. It was very helpful as we had travelled overnight by train and needed to refresh ours

- The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also.
- The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around.
- The room was clean.
- There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs.
- The staff were professional.

The hotel is a short walk from the station, the staff are very kind and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Although Hotel Marta is functional, plain and simple, everything is of high quality (beds, pristine bathrooms etc.). In the lobby there is a hotel computer and free tea available around the clock. The breakfast buffet does not have a wide choice but again the food is of high quality, plentiful and perfectly substantial and everything spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

A couple of days before arrival I contacted the hotel by email for information, which I received by return email. On check-in date, I arrived early, 9h00 am, but was checked-in immediately. This is a family hotel and they do their utmost to make you comfortable. It was a wonderful place to stay, very clean and quiet and central. I arrived at 9:30 AM from overseas and they allowed me to check into my room right away, which was a big help after a long trip. - Great location. Easy walking distance to the central train station and tour

The room definitely costs the money I paid, the bath is useful, nothing superfluous, but everything is useful. It's good that they serve breakfast for this price and again all staff is very nice.

The location of the hotel is excellent! The rooms may be small, but they
have everything you need. Even though you share a bathroom, everything
is kept very clean.
The fresh bread at breakfast was delicious. I also enjoyed the very good cup of coffee each morning.

Room very beautiful. I was surprised by the elegance and the cleanliness, not to mention the superb peculiarity of each room. A different style was chosen for each room according for the country assigned at every place. Say, Japan will have a more Japan style furniture. Excellent position

very close to main train station,almost across the road..mins walk to main city and tourist area of zurich..I wasn't expecting much as being in guest house rather than there hotel part,but was quite comfortable and good bathroom and good water pressure..zurich is very expensive so this guest house is quite good for money...

Everything! I travel quite often and this is a gem! Room was small, but very clean, well organized, super comfy bed/pillows, nice bathroom with shower - and sparkling clean, and small balcony (would be nice in the summer). Very clean and comfortable, close to the town centre and the staff were
always friendly and helpful. My room was bigger than expected and I was
the only person using the shared bathroom on my floor. I liked that a
generous breakfast was included in the (already very reasonable) price
and that there was a computer with internet access on the ground floor
for guest use. There was even a printer with it, making me think the

Very pleasant family hotel. Convinient location (15 min to Zurich HB, 10 min to the old city) , friendly staff.Good breakfast with a large variety of cheeses, bacon, flakes with milk and yogurt, croissant.
There was no queue in the bathroom. We even did not meet anybody on the floor.
There were always soap and shampoo in the room. -

The place was clean and quiet. The furnishings were spare, but serviceable. The staff at checkin was good. The area was a 'hip' part of town - near some good restaurants that were not too expensive. It was close to a tramline that got me downtown quickly. -
