Set in a chalet from the 1800s in Hasliberg in the Bernese Oberland, Pension Staldacher is just 300 metres from the cable car to the ski area, in a quiet location. The newly renovated room offers views of the Bernese Alps and the North Face of the Eiger, and provides direct access to the garden with barbecue facilities. It has a separate entrance. Free WiFi and satellite TV are standard room facilities at Pension Staldacher. There is also a bathroom with bath tub and toilet, a refrigerator, a kettle and a sofa bed. Free tea and coffee are provided. Nordic walking, ski and mountain bike tours, as well as glass pearl workshops, can be arranged directly at Staldacher Pension. The nearest bus stop, shops and restaurants are just a 4-minute walk away. Breakfast is also available at the guest house. The famous Reichenbach Falls can be reached in 20 minutes by car or train. Interlaken is 30 km away and Luzern is reachable within a 45-minute drive.

Our friendly, helpful hosts supplied us with a tasty lunch upon arrival; pointed us to the local store and a cozy restaurant for dinner; helped fix the broken chains for our tires; made breakfast according to our liking; cared for and catered for our toddler; let us use a sled of theirs; served homemade bread. Delicious breakfast with fresh products, superb view of the mountains, very friendly couple who owns the house. We stopped here for only one night on our way to Italy, but we would go again for a longer stay.
