This family-run hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and from the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. Guests can dine in Hotel Bodmi’s restaurant, which serves home-cooked food. A buffet breakfast is available in the morning, and guests can eat outdoors to enjoy the picturesque views. Each room has a TV with cable channels. Guests can also enjoy an aromatic steam bath, and a shower with perfumed ice fog or warm thunderstorm rain settings. The spa area is situated in the goats' stable and you can watch the goats through windows. Free private parking is available, and wireless internet is also free at Hotel Bodmi. A free shuttle service from the Grindelwald Train Station to the hotel and back is included.

Great for children because the swiss ski school is right outside with gentle slopes and magic carpet lifts with groups for beginners (the Swiss start skiing as 3 year olds) Very practical also for adults of all levels as the ski rental is attached to the hotel and you can ski directly down to the gondelbahn. The hotels setting above the town gives you sunlight all day not obstructed by the magnificent mountain range in front of you. Value for money is only compromised by the high swiss frank. T.
όλα τα σχόλια » We had a wonderful stay at this superb hotel. Elisabeth and Kurt are exceptional hosts - friendly, attentive, informative and helpful. Indeed, all of the staff could not have been more pleasant. The location of the Bodmi is amazing - watch the North Face of the Eiger from your balcony as the weather goes through all of its phases! The restaurant is very good with an exceptional chef and excellent service.Our room was large, warm, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We would have no hesitatio. Everything. We stayed 4 days in bad weather off-season, but the Bodmi was great, best place we stayed in two weeks of travel. The owners and staff take real interest in pleasing and helping the guests enjoy their stay. Great room, great food, great mountain views, great location away from town so it was quiet and away from road noise. Can't wait to go back someday. Our hosts, Kurt and Elizabeth, went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a splendid view up the valley. The hotel is well situated, quite close to the base of the First gondola, which whisks you up to any number of glorious walks. And at the end of the day, the food in the hotel restaurant is superb. It´s a nice hotel which has an excellent location for skiing with our 2.5 year old daughter. You can ski right outside the hotel. The food was also great, and they have a nice sauna/bathroom which we used every day the four days we stayed there. I recommend Bodmi hotel. Also they have some goats in the barn which our daughter liked to visit. Located ten minute walk above the town, surrounded by pasture, and views are outstanding. Dinner on the terrace was very good and the setting was great. We received extremely helpful advice on our daily activities. Rooms are super quiet and comfortable. Staff is all first rate. Strongly recommend. The hotel is very comfortable with a great staff. The views are superb. The restaurant is also good. It was nice to be a little away from town in the quiet and beauty of the hillside. We will return again. This hotel and its staff were excellent. The location is good ( if a little out of the village). I would return without hesitation. we loved our stay there, everything was perfect. Owners are very friendly & welcoming. Nothing. Having to leave. I think it was a little too pricy, but I have not checked the average price level in Grindelwald. A fair number of flies entered our room with the window open, maybe due to the resident goat herd. Nothing. Rooms need to be redecorated Towels need to be changed as they are tiered out.
