Renovated in 2012, Hotel Barillon is located in the heart of the city, only a 2-minute walk from the train station and a 3-minute walk from Lake Geneva, and offers you en-suite rooms with flat-screen TV and free WiFi. The reception is open 24 hours a day. There you will get free ticket for public transport for the entire length of your stay. There is a restaurant right next door and a supermarket is reachable on foot in 2 minutes. Within a 12-minute bus ride you can reach the UN organisations from the Barillon hotel.

-very clean -staff very helpful and welcoming -newly renovated -close to everything: city, lake, cornavin station. The staff was friendly, the hotel was located near the train station and the lake, around the place were many reastauarants and mini markets. -our stay was enjoyable thanks to the cleanness of the rooms and hospitality of the staff. The cost was way toooooo expensive for the quality of the service provided, neighborhood was unpleasant (after getting dark prostitution was taking place across the street), the room was too small, there wasn't a door separating the bathroom, you could hear everything from next rooms and the hall (even tv), it wasn't clean enough (I found a cigarette filter by the bed), it was a two persons' bed but it was really too small.
