Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling.
I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple.
I would definitely wish to stay in this hostel again when visiting Stockholm next time!

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to be of assistance. In particular a young man called johan who booked taxis for us, helped us get onto guestlists for clubs etc... On our last night we went to the Ice Bar reccomended by the hotel and then came back to the Hilton Hotels bar which was great fun. Music was fantastic and ever

I loved the ambiance of staying on the boat. the bar on the top gave great views and breakfast was very good. Also the reading room was quite nice .The location was wonderful. Walkable to alot of Stockholm and we could jump on at 3 different train stations within 10 minute walk. Also the staff was excellent. We had the owners suite with 4 adul

Great location: the rooms with the river view (ask for them!) have an amazing and romantic view on the Old City (Gamla Stan). Location is perfect to explore the city. We tried the standard twin-Hostel cabin: small as expected (it's a boat!) but still very comfortable and very clean. The shared bathrooms and showers are in good number, big and super-clean: never needed to wait in 5 days!

The location, only 5-10minutes walk to the royral palace, and to hop on, hop off boat, walking distance to the old town, quiet area, nice staff, room space (double) is quite big, compared with other hotel. if you just want to go to the Skansen park, Vasa, old town, city hall and royral palace, then you don't need to buy the ticket for train, just hop on hop off boat is enough!

Very close to the main station and to Arlanda Express. The room was very small (as indicated on the web site) but fully functional. These single rooms without window are very good value for money if you just want to stay overnight as I did (to catch an early plane). - The staff was really nice, the breakfast was good, it was peaceful

Conveniently located minutes away from Gamla Stan. A short 15 minute walk will take you through beautiful harbor to the business area if you have a meeting there. Great breakfast. Efficient service. Great location,very friendly,it's expensive but everywhere in Stockholmis so you might as well get the bang for your buck. It'sa verycontemporary and fits in with the Swedish life style. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Scandic Grand Central Hotel. Great location, very clean room and bathroom, very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. The hotel is located almost in the center, near Central station. 2 minutes walk to Arlando airport express station.
In the lobby there is a special place with table to work with laptops, there is also a free access to internet from a common working place - desktop PC.
Breakfast is very good, except for constant queue for hot milk (it is available from a single, very slow machine).
