The hotel is within one minute walking from the terminal. I showed up very late, but the staff was very helpful, truly going beyond expectations. Big rooms with big flat screens, quick internet connection and good temperature control. I'll go back the next time. -

excellent breakfast open til 10.30 on Sunday, much appreciated. Very helpful staff who spoke excellent English, we could put bus cards onto the hotel bill etc. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked good and other people did use them a lot. The Barken Viking is very interesting being a converted old ship, it is right on the riverside and extremely close to central station which makes it quick and easy to get to if travelling in on bus from Landvetter Airport. The whole idea of a ship-hotel is pretty cool. It was a large and nice old ship turned hotel.
Breakfast was included and plentiful.
Internet is free and you can hook up any amount of devices, just change the email you register with for each one of them.
Location is pretty good, next to the opera house and the ship museum, and at least a good 20 minutes walk from some of the nice streets in the center.

The hotel was hospitable. I made a terrible mistake and had booked dates
for march and turned up in february. The staff instantly rectified my
mistake and changed the dates else I would have lost my booking and

stay in the same hotel -
ever so friendly and helpful staff at the reception makes you feel at home immediately - small but very clean rooms with everything you need, first class bedding, excellent free wifi and last but not least a tremendous breakfast in an extraordinary scenery - a well deserved 10 out of 10 and imho should deserve at the very least a 4 star quoting

The Spar Majorna is located on a tram line that makes it very easy and
inexpensive to get around Gothenburg. Neighborhood is a little funky,
but several good restaurants within a short walk, and you can always go
to the Center on the tram if you want more "action:.

Given that this is a nice hotel in the center of a major city in Sweden, prices are quite reasonable, but it's not cheap. -
Everything was precisely as it was written on the letsbookhotel.com. We had a
smaal double room. The room was small, but clean. The bed was
comfortable and its size 140 was enough for us. As for budget hotel the
breakfast was perfect. There were plenty of cold dishes and hot was
enough, bread was good too. Location was convinient to reach many areas
of the city. The garage was a big advantage for us too. As a result,
everething was perfect for this price (95 eur per night).

excellent service and friendly staff- they kept my room despite very late arrival into city and hotel was fully booked. the hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable and they also provided snacks all day and night in kitchen- free of charge which was added and welcome bonus! would highly recommend this hotel.... - excellent all round- great staff

Very nice rooms, bright and modern, yet charming. Generous bathroom. Some noise from the street early in the morning, but tolerable, considering the extremely central location. Friendly staff.
