Set about 4km from the actual town centre of ne up a steep and winding
part of the highway, this delightful hotel is a welcoming respite from a
winding journey from Kandy. The hotel management greet you warmly and
will provide a packed breakfast if like us, you need to leave early in
the morning. Walking down ito the town is a half our jaunt - get a
tuktuk back after your dinner!. The restaurant below the hotel on the
main road is 'dry'. Vege stands abound this area and you are
surrounded by te. όλα τα σχόλια »
The location is great - far from the tourist traps and really quite from the hustle and bustle of the town. Very idyllic and the entire hotel is very clean. No tv in the room but there is one in the living area where you could enjoy a pot of tea and also make friends with other guests. The staff is very nice and attentive especially Mr. Glen De Silva. Really enjoyed our stay and we wished we could have stayed more.
The staffs here are so friendly that I felt very hard to say goodbye to them. You can see the tea garden from the balcony. It is just like your home. It is a not very big house, but very clean. They cook your breakfast just as your family. I missed them! And you can ask the staff to find a tuk-tuk to pick you up in the city or send you to the city. The drivers are much more friendly then the ones from the city.
Very kind staff, they were really helpful while we were organizing our trip to Horton Plains for the following day (enquiring for us about the weather forecasts, giving us opinions, preparing us a packed breakfast, etc). Clean, basic rooms, we had all that we needed.
Kumar and Raja were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was large, freshly cooked and served with friendly chatter. Easy to walk from the place to the tea estates and into town.
The staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. The location was out of town but in a lovely spot in the hillside.
friendly staff, but it seems most of sri lanka people are kind. clean room but hot water is rather only warm.
The staff was very helpful,The accommodation was good, Location is good. Overall it was a peaceful holiday.
Excellent hospitality from staff Good quality meals at breakfast and
dinner time Clean and spacious rooms.
Beautiful countyside, tea plantations, friendly staff, and beautiful homely accommodation.
Great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya! Clean and friendly.
The cleanliness, nice and helpful staff.
The manager and his assistant were of great help.
Mr. Kumar helped answering all questions we needed to know about the town.
The villa is a guest house, it is clean, hot water is there, clean towels. Bring extra clothes though it gets really cold at night.
If you just need a place to stay at night because you plan to spend the whole day outside (Horton plains, lake, temples...) it is a good option. But stay on the upper floor to enjoy the sight.
The manager speaks very good english and is very helpful - that's a plus! The location in about 2,5 km from the city on a hill facíng another tea plantation hill! Priceless! The room was clean. You just have to make sure you get enough blankets because it is cold at night!.
Staff is really friendly and helpfull.
Staff were nice.
Clean enough. No mosquitoes.
Like many hotels, the mattresses are very firm!.
It's out of town, little to do in the area.
Nothing.
need to put big sign board out on the main road.
Located sufficient distance away from Nuwara Eliya that a tuk tuk is
essential to reach the town centre.
Nothing.
But rather far from the town. Tuk-tuk will be 200-300Rs.
Nothing.
it is not noise-proof but that does not affect your stay (unless there is a student excursion nearby).
A bit overpriced for a guest house though.
During our stay it was always rainning so we couldn't enjoy it, but that's not hotel fault.
The rooms are very cold. There is no heater in the rooms. We spend all night shivering under the blankets.
1. When we come for check-in the hotel was closed and manager was surprised and asked us to provide printed confirmation from letsbookhotel.com
2. Few hours later water supply stopped
3. It was really cold inside
4. At the morning electricity and internet also gone
5. Worst breakfast ever
6. At checkout tried to cheat with dollar exchange rate.
