  The room was incredible. Like stepping abck in time. It was full of beautiful old furniture yet the design was modern - a perfect fusion. I have stayed in many 5* boutique hotels and this one is by far the best room. Must be seen to be believed.   There is nothing better than arriving in Columbo after a long flight and a nerve-rattling taxi ride through the city's crazy traffic, to be greeted by the Hilton's smiling, uber-professional staff and a welcome glass of cold lemonade.
