Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

We booked a room with private bath room and stayed in a perfect sized room with three doors leading to balconies. The staff was very friendly, no limited English. They helped us out with great spots to visit and we wanted to stay on a couple more days but they were fully booked. The location can be, as it is right in the centre of all the pinxo

Perfect location. Really friendly staff. Shared bathroom was not a problem as it isnt shared by many rooms and we were all around at different times. Nice little balcony. It was quite noisy at night, but that would be the same anywhere in the old town.

Excellent room, and friendly and helpful staff. The rate we paid through the LetsBookHotel.com website was an absolute steal. The hotel is 15 to 20 minutes walk from town but it's a pleasant walk showing a side of San Sebastian that you might not see if you stayed in town. - The staff were very helpful, there was a great selection on the buffetbrea

Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was
one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very
helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great
sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already
recommended a number of friends to stay there! Thanks Javier and

EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))

Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.
