Location convenient for us to explore Motril and its mercadillo next morning. Receptionist changed our room to one immediately above the desk otherwise wifi would only have been beside his desk. Good view of mountains if your room.like ours is at the rear of the hotel. Good onsite parking. Building had sense of having once been more selubrious but....... Lack of internet connection in rooms unless above reception. Poor bathroom provision towel rail and bidet had been removed and wall left undecorated. Poor quality bath towels;no hand towels; no glass or soap in bathroom. Large but empty restaurant with no list of what was available on the menu del dia. Main menu had no non-meat option at all. Felt like spanish version of TV programme 'fawlty towers!'.
