Hostal San Blas was a good surprise for us. The staff helped us in a lot of things and was always helpful, mainly Ema.
The location is excellent, we did all we wanted without even the metro.

We loved staying in this hostal. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. Everything was clean and we had this room facing the street with a little balcony, just great. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

It was an excellent location, near the metro and Plaza Mayor. The staff were all very helpful and parking was facilissimo. They were extremely accommodating, providing driving directions in Madrid and other advice. - The breakfast (which was not included) was delicious and plentiful.

Η τοποθεσία του - The Hotel itself is perfectly situated in the centre of Madrid close to almost everything, the museum and park just a short walk away. The Hotel was spotless and the staff really helpful. We had a room that looked out on to the fire exit bit strange not having natural light, but the quietness of the room more than made up for it.

Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom. In the bedroom, the tv is embedded inside a big mirror! How cool! The bed is clean and comfortable. There are big windows in the room so plenty of natural light

It was a pleasant surprise to stay at an art showcase hotel: what an inspiration. When we arrived they were displaying beautiful photographs from an artist, on the following week they displayed paintings from a renowned andalusian painter. The room is artfully decorated with the most functional bathroom for travelers. Another surprise was the very clever and beautiful way the television is hidden. Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Playa de Major. 5 minutes walk from Puerto de Toledo Metro.
