The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket.
The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped.

Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side
street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed
wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and
recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and
attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and
about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We
didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold)
but it did look tiny.

The size of the single beds were brilliant. My friend and I shared a room for econemy reasons, so to find 3/4 beds made our stay more comfortable - convenient, modern, clean and had huge rooms. Very friendly staff

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!

We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the
Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic.
Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting
resteraunts and bars. It is s short walk from the Colonial hotel to the

Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

Everything. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast had a wide variety of fresh food. The staff were very helpful in giving information about the city. we used the spa and sauna which was very nice. - The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, they recommended a place to eat nearby and we found it to be excellent.

Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.
