The location is superb, just off La Ramblas. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. We were at the front of the hotel, so we had a small balcony overlooking the street. There is a lift, essential for people like me who have difficulty with stairs.

Hotel Condal is located in the heart of the La Rambla. It is so convenient to walk 30m and then to enter the La Rambla. The many restaurants, shops and attractions in close proximity of the hotel is a bonus. The reception of the hotel is very helpful, knowledgeable,efficient and available 24hr. The cleanliness of the room and hotel were immaculate, and the location superb. The complimentary snacks which were replenished daily, was a nice touch. I traveled with my two adult children (21 & 22) and we had two
rooms. Location!!! Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from
La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything.
The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas
as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were
quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5
hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

This was the second time we stayed here and we will be staying there again in the Fall. Liked the bunk beds for the kids even though the ladder was a little hard to climb for my son.

This review related to the apartment at Hospital 24. Location excellent, 30 seconds to Las Ramblas and Liceu metro but apartment itself very quiet with pleasant secluded balcony. As there is no receptionist I telephoned the contact no. Stated on my booking and was met and shown around the security door and lift facilities. l was pleasantly surprised once I entered the apartment. The facilities and decor were good. Excellent apartment in a perfect location just a half block from La Rambla. Apartment was very nice, clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Had a lift and seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Located on a quiet side street, but close to stores, restaurants, and the great La Boqueria market. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona.
The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.

Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10
M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I
wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room
is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as
long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are
