  This was a genuine 4 star hotel at a 2 star rate - Excellent! Whilst not in the centre of town, it is near huge park areas which are really nice - It was close to the metro, the train station and the main attractions. We were able to walk to the main attractions.

Friendly staff and if you want to come back to the hotel at 6am they let you in no problem. Great location and a beautiful building, even the tourits on the tour bus took photos of the building! I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

  We stayed for 2 nights on our arrival to Madrid (into Atocha Station, which is about a 10 minute walk straight down Calle Atocha); the young, ultra-helpful staff was a pleasure to deal with - they are sharp people and we found no shortage of good English among them. Fingerprint reader to enter the appartment: no badge you could loose or misplace. Free WiFi!
