Breakfast (served until 11.30am) was an enormously varied buffet, with cold meats and cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, hot bacon, sausages, tomatoes, eggs and mushrooms. Lots of different breads, juices, teas and coffees. Great value and just what you need before a days sightseeing. Our room was small but well planned, clean and comfortable. The safe had a plug socket inside it so that you could recharge ipad etc whilst it was in the safe. the shower was huge and clean. If we got the same

Very quiet and comfy room, only 2 minutes from the Metro station "Barceloneta" and also from the south entrance to the Barrio Gotico.
Great breakfast and very attentive reception staff!
Will be back for the next trip. -

Located in a part of El Born with many tourist. However it was not that noisy in the night living on the second floor. Small cosy hotel in boutigue style with a restaurant - that we didn't attend - and a smaller breakfast room. No further facilities. Small but nice and clean room.

Room very clean, staff helpful. Rate (105 Euro) was good for the location - close to everything.
Love the free bottles of cold water on each floor.
Didn't try the restaurant -- it looked very nice, but also a little spendy. However, there are tons of tapas places (and real restaurants also) within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed in this new small Hotel (six rooms) last week and loved it. Staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked in, the stay was perfect. Mirly and his team made us feel really welcome in this beautiful small Hotel, decorated with great taste and in a perfect location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made suggestions for touring Barcelona. They let me set-up my tripod to take photos of the harbor and surrounding area which was great. They made a special breakfast for me very early in the morning when I had to catch a train which was very considerate.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!

Very good hotel, looks perfect, very clean, very nice rooms, big space, very clean bathrooms and near a big commercial center where you have discounts if you stay at this hotel and 5min. distance walk from the Metro station. The hotel staff is very kind; they help you with every problem or question you have. ( I was good impresed ) - It is an excel
