The location was brilliant - the best of both worlds, close to a great beach and just a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful, room wonderful with incredibly comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Buffet lunch and bar snacks at hotel quite expensive but check out Cafe Genis just a few metres away - very good quality

Room was nicely decorated, especially we liked bathroom design. Delicious breakfast and as we booked 30 days in advance we had it for free. Very polite and helpful staff.

I have never been so pleasantly surprised by a reservation. The staff at Mar Bella is incredibly helpful, friendly, and English-speaking. Great apartment with plenty of room for our kids. We have a 5 year old and twin 3 year olds. The free wifi in the apartment was very fast and our children were able to watch their cartoons on the tv in English since we were shown how to change the language on the tv. It was only a 15 minute walk to the Mar Bella beach and to the Rambla del Poblenou street that had many restaurants. The Poblenou metro station was 10 minutes walk away that we could take to all of the sites in the heart of Barcelo

Staff were excellant and could not be more accomodating. Modern boutique decor hotel with great location to all attrctions. Rooms were stylish and well set out and in a building with beautiful architectural features. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent within walking distance of hop on hop off bus stop and close to restaurants, massage place and shops. Also within easy walking to La Rambla. Concierge staff were particularly good and helpful and booked a few outings for us. The hotel however could have a stand to show what they offer in this respect to make more profit.

The location was superb for our holiday purposes. Placa Reial was a great buzzy place to be, but yet the double glazing ensured a good night's sleep in our rooms which overlooked it.
The staff were excellent: helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.
We loved the included minibar and breakfast, and the fruits etc provided fresh every day.

The vibe of the foyer area was like a cool nightclub in the evenings with dark mood lighting - very trendy.
To say there was clubbing music streamed in the foyer which you could hear on all levels of walk-way, the bedrooms were sound-proofed really well.

Magnificent rooms with probably the best sea views you can get in Barcelona. Extremely spacious and well furnished with very comfortable beds and top of the line furnishings, which make for a luxurious experience.Very responsive and pro-active staff that seeks to make your stay comfortable. The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no
small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am
and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.
