The vibe of the place was really good when I was there; people were very friendly and it was easy for someone travelling alone (like me) to make friends. I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

There was a lot of information in the hostel for trips and tours, very useful. The staff were very friendly and there was a lot of space to chill out and relax with vending machines for snacks and drinks.
